Unfortunately this time after placing the order of the 3 mini pack I was told they don't have semi chocolate chunk cookies 😞 I was at the store to grab some choc cookies to surprise my wife, I hope they update their systems with inventory to cause a little less confusion and disappointment.“

Owner is very nice and always says good morning. I recommend the cinnamon roll donut, glazed and chocolate donut/holes, plain blueberry cake donut (limited quantity), ham egg and cheese croissant, boudin kolache (very mild spice).

“You don't often find a place with 100% on reviews but if anywhere deserves that score it is Latinos Bakery. The thing is; calling it a bakery is only half the story. They also have fresh cooked tamales and an entire menu of authentic Mexican cuisine. I've tried a number of things but the tamales and tacos are my favorite. The tacos are the pre-Covid price of $8.49 for 5 and the tamales are $20 a dozen. They are worth EVERY PENNY! I love the Roja sauce and my wife likes the verde. The pork tamales are the best but the chicken and cheese are amazing as well. The pastries and such are what give it the bakery name but the real treat is the Tres Leches cake. They have classic or chocolate and both are amazing. I just can't recommend this place enough. The they are always nice and smiling to me and even let me try stuff if I'm curious but not ready to commit to ordering a whole plate. This is how every business needs to be run! Now excuse me, I need to rest because I nearly overdosed on tamales and tres leches!“

“Scooter’s Coffee definitely deserves 5 stars! Every visit is a great experience, the drinks are consistently delicious, the service is fast, and the staff is always friendly and upbeat. You can tell they genuinely care about making customers’ mornings better.

Their coffee tastes rich and smooth, and their specialty drinks (like the Caramelicious and iced lattes) are always perfectly made. The breakfast items and pastries are fresh and pair perfectly with their drinks. I also love how quick the drive-thru is, even when it’s busy, they keep things moving without sacrificing quality.

“My family loves this place. In a city where donut shops abound on every block, we have tried a dozen spots around Garland and this is absolutely the best donut and kolache place there is! The blueberry cake donuts, glazed donuts, strawberry donuts and the cinnamon rolls are the best. But, we love their kolaches the most. They have a honey glaze and taste that others don't. And they are so kind and generous with their customers. We love this family who runs it, and go out of our way to support them over other places. I've tried a few places in Dallas and this business tops their fancy kolaches. And their prices are better than the majority of competitors. Added bonus, a drive thru window!“
