“Boy, do I have a REVIEW. I just stumbled across this place on Yelp because I was looking for a quick lunch around my office. I went to the location and IMMEDIATELY, the smell outside is delicious, warm, sweet and inviting. and ordered a sandwich combo that comes with a half sandwich, soup or salad and housemade chips. I brought it back to my office and when I tell y'all... I had an out of body experience as I was eating this combo. I got the turkey and cheese hot sandwich and tomato basil soup. Say what you want about a simple turkey and cheese sandwich... but La Spiga somehow made it a delicacy. The sourdough bread that I got it on was some of the best bread I've ever had. All the ingredients were so fresh and complimented each other seamlessly like the Dallas Symphony during their Summer Music Series. And the SOUP? The perfect dipping soup for my sandwich AND on its own. This tomato basil soup blows every notable competitor I've ever tried in the past out of the WATER. The housemade chips were also fresh and lovely but I spent most of my time on the sandwich and soup. La Spiga Bakery will now be a regular spot for me. Looking forward to taking my friends here and frequenting it for work lunch getaways.
