“I visited this restaurant twice with family during my recent visit to Dallas. Ambiance was great and staff very welcoming and attentive. Appeared as if we were being treated as personal guests. Standard of food and hygiene was beyond any doubt remarkable. What really impressed me was that washrooms were sparkling clean with all amenities. Overall an excellent experience and my appreciation to management and owners for doing a very fine job. Wish you all the success!“

But I am only going to review what I was able to eat. The meatless food. Their tequeños are absolutely delicious! The crispy golden outside and warm, melty cheese inside made them nothing short of awesome! Especially when paired with their dipping sauce. 🧀 Next I tried their cachapa & it was amazing! The sweet corn flavor and soft, golden texture made it simple & delicious. They are filled with melty cheese, then they become the perfect balance of sweet and savory. 🌽 Lastly, I tried their plantains! Oh my goodness! Plantains are such a delicious treat! They were perfectly cooked: golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and naturally sweet. They made for a simple, comforting, and satisfying side dish! 🍌 Would I go back? Absolutely, yes! 💯“

“The food was great, but the price was outrageous. I bought 1/2 pound of brisket and 1/2 pound sausage - a total of 1 pound of meat, and 2 sides. The total came to $55.51. That's crazy!!! Unfortunately, I can't afford to go back there again. Too bad, because they're located 1 block from my home and the food is great, but the price is way out of my budget range.“

“Great hole in the wall Mexican bbq place. I had some Al pastor tacos and brisket sandwich. The tacos had onions and cilantro and I got the green medium hot salsa (which was a good medium spice level). The brisket sandwich was good sized and came with pickles and onions and warmed bbq sauce.“

“This was my very first time dining at Manna Shabu & BBQ (Lewisville location) while visiting for a concert weekend, and I have to say—it was such a wonderful experience! They were even having a special collaboration with a local small business vendor for the Ateez concert and offering a complimentary Lemon Drop mocktail for each diner, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. I believe it was the owner or manager who greeted me, and when he learned it was my first visit, he kindly explained the menu, the dining options, and where to find the different food and sauce stations. I was then shown to my table where a very sweet server brought me water and took my order. Throughout my meal, two other staff members as well as the owner/manager checked on me often. The service was beyond excellent—everyone was attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind. Now onto the food—oh my gosh, the portions were incredible! I ordered three different meats and was so pleasantly surprised at the generous serving sizes. At most KBBQ places, one order barely feels like enough for a single person, but here, each order was hearty and satisfying. I couldn’t stop raving about it to my boyfriend and mom while on the phone during my meal! The meat was fresh, high-quality, and delicious—even without dipping sauces. The corn cheese also deserves a special shout-out—it was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. Beyond the main dishes, there were so many great options: hot plates like mandu, sausage, japchae, fried rice, and chicken; a nice selection of banchan; an ice cream station for dessert; and a wide variety of sauces to complement everything. The restaurant itself was very clean, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and even the restrooms were spotless. I also loved that the TVs played some of my favorite K-pop groups and the music playlist was absolutely top tier—it really added to the fun vibe. Dining here as a solo traveler, I never once felt uncomfortable or out of place. On the contrary, I felt taken care of and treated like a queen. It was such a comforting and memorable experience, and I am so thankful for the outstanding hospitality and service I received. “This is the 3rd Chinese BBQ skewer type restaurant we have been to since moving to Dallas. We liked this one the best. It had a wider variety of menu options and the spice levels were not overpowering. It is also open very late, which makes it a great spot for late night eats and group outings. “Tonight my family of three decided to try this place out for dinner and it did NOT disappoint!

We walked in and were immediately greeted. Asked if we had a reservation (we didn’t) and was told it would be a 10 minute wait. We waited less than that and were seated. I had never been to a Korean BBQ place before so our server was great at explaining everything to us and how it worked.

We all together got 6 different items protein wise to try, from the brisket to the shrimp and even the chicken.
Some was seasoned, some wasn’t but if you pair them with the right things it’s really delicious!

I didn’t know what to expect but it was all so delicious. I loved the additional sides they provided and my little one devoured the glass noodles so much that the servers kept giving her more! I appreciate that so much!

The staff was great, the restaurant was clean and the food was amazing!

It didn’t feel like a crazy night but when I got my ticket our server comped my ice coffee, the reason being “it’s been busy so we’ve been kinda slow”. They were great with checking in with us so I was not expecting it at all.

I would recommend and definitely will be coming back. I wish I had gotten the names of the two people who helped us but I’ll for sure get it next time! If you are in the area I would go!“

“I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“Me and my friends always come here for late night dinner and always get taken care by Nick, he is very attentive and the food quality is worth more than the price they set it up for. We’ve tried different places of KBBQ but the is by far our favorite one especially the pork jowl!“

Portion sizes were a great perception of value. Would have loved some sliced scallion and maybe some julienne carrots, but that is a preference and not a rating criteria.
