The team member who took and fulfilled the order at the large drive through window was very nice and helpful.We had a two plate meal with chicken and sliced brisket that was good and felt like a good value. “Ate here for the first time today, 9-12-24, with some good friends. The staff was very hospitable and Terry was amazing! I can't wait to head back and enjoy more of everything.“

“I was immensely satisfied with my visit. I just finished my first ever one, and their service is amazing. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles and friendly jokes from both the greeter and the cashier. I payed for my meal, grabbed a drink cup, and before I could fill it and fully sit down my plate was already delivered to my table.

The meal I got was the $15 lunch special. This included a beef brisket sandwich, a side of bbq beans, home made chips, alongside a cup with infinite refills (so long as I bring it with me on every visit). I also added banana pudding for another $4, bringing my total to $20 and some change. The food was good, but the brisket could’ve used a bit more seasoning. What really stood out for excellence was the banana pudding. If you’re a fan of home made and super creamy banana pudding, these guys know how to do it right.

The verdict: Every staff member I encountered was extremely respectful and kind. My server Mark answered every question I had, and gladly saw to me with a smile. As I ate my meal, I watched his co-worker Darrius respectfully waiting for customers to finish praying before serving them. A man named Ryan came to take my plate when I was done, and even he decided to chat with me and shake my hand. Seeing these workers focus on their service, treat others with kindness/respect, and do so while genuinely enjoying their work is a breath of fresh air. That shared mentality amongst the staff puts the quality of service in this place into a league of its own. The food might not’ve been the best I’ve ever had, but the quality of care and service makes up for any complaint I could possibly have regarding it. I will gladly visit again in the near future, and would advise others to do the same.“

“This is a nice place to hang out and chill with friends. Dog friendly. The food here is mediocre bar food. I think they need to rework some of their menu items. Its been the same for years and rather stale. The hotdog is so bad; they use what I consider trash dogs. The grilled cheese with brisket is the best thing on the menu.“

“They have a few tables in the back with back-support bench chairs. Otherwise, you have to sit on stools with no back support. When we asked for the back table, they told us that it was reserved. I'm not convinced if all the tables were reserved. For that, I don't know if I would return.“

“I got the lunch special of 1 meat and 1 side as well as the lemon cake dessert. The brisket was very good in my opinion, perfect balance of fat and lean meat; loved the sauce that was on the side, it was very peppery but balanced with a slight sweetness. Comes with a side of toast and pickles and pickles onions that were also very delicious and good balance. The Mac and cheese was a semi disappointment due to it being spiral noodles but the cheese sauce and breadcrumbs really bring it back to being tasty. Lastly, the dessert, smoked lemon cake. It was hard to judge it, they forgot the berries so it was good but not quite up to par, the cake portion did not taste smoky, was very dense but still moist. Comes with this lemon drizzle/curd sauce that was very good. Worth a visit for the atmosphere and food, but if you're looking for solid BBQ I would give this place a pass and maybe go to hard 8, Hutchinsons or even maybe Loro if you're looking for something more modern.“

“We order Rudys Tacos for breakfast at least once a week. Usually, we use door dash, but on this day, I had to run errands stopped by. I went inside and placed my order. I ordered 6 tacos. I watched as people that came after me got their order before me and at least 4 cars in the drive thru...all after mine was placed. I watched as the employees placed Tacos in the made bin and the employee that made mine having to make them again. I saw the frustration on his face. So, while I like their Tacos and green sauce, never go inside unless you are doing the grab and go. The drive thru is prioritized. It shouldn't matter, but obviously, it does. I even said something to the employee who made my tacos. His silence was his answer. Lesson learned.“

“I ordered the brisket nachos and okra. The okra was fried to perfection but the nachos were beyond amazing. They were huge, took up the whole tray and loaded with toppings! The chips were fresh and every single chip had something on it: cheese, sour cream, onions, tomatoes, brisket, you name it, these nachos had it! I took more than half home with me and ate them for the lunch the next day, still just as good as the day before.“
