Omg! Ok I was craving rib tips and I know that's not a typical Texas thing. I happen to stumble on this place where the owners are from Mississippi. I'm from Mississippi and when I tell you I had a nostalgia of home! From the welcome to the hospitality. As I was waiting for my to go order the owner was out greeting all the customers. My husband and I dined in today after a recommendation from my friend & coworker. They dined here back in November and LOVED it. She raved about the catfish filets and I just recently started eating them whole. Absolutely AMAZING. My husband got the rub plate that comes with 4 bones, he received 5 🥰 unfortunately I couldn’t taste them because it’s the first Friday of Lent. I am new to Texas, and was looking for some delicious barbecue that is not a chain restaurant. I was not disappointed, I met Mr . Earnest B, very friendly and addressed a miscommunication and handled it with a smile. I will definitely go back, I’ve found my barbecue spot.

Based on the reviews, Earnest B's BBQ offers delicious, fresh BBQ with a Texas flair, straight outta the heart of Mississippi. The menu features the best, juiciest, fall-off-the-bone ribs, brisket, chicken, and fried fish. The brisket is cooked perfectly with great smoke flavor, good thick bark, and tender meat with almost no fatty parts. The sliced brisket sandwich is one of the best. The ribs and brisket are fantastic with good portion sizes. The cole slaw is a loved side order, and the baked potato is big. The menu choices include items that are slap yo mama delicious. From the moment you walk through the door, you feel like family. The service is amazing, friendly, and the hospitality is great. The dining room is well kept with lots of memorabilia and plenty of seating. The portions are worth the price. It is a great dining experience with wonderful food.
