Absolutely hands down the best food I’ve eaten in Texas so far! I’m already planning to spend my birthdays here for years to come if all goes to plan. The staff are exceptionally kind, the cooks nailed the meat perfectly … especially the moist tenderloin. 😋🤤 Out of this world! Their hot BBQ sauce is worth every penny if you can grab the big bottle.

We came on a Sunday after church and still found plenty of seating, even a party room in the back. As a carpenter, I appreciated the gorgeous handmade tables… solid wood, 🪵 sturdy, and beautifully finished. The atmosphere was welcoming for my big family, and the staff at the register even let me sample meats before ordering. Once I tried the ham 🐷🐖🐽 and then the moist tenderloin (like filet mignon! 🥩), I was sold.

Better than Hardee’s, twice the food for half the price,💲 and no long lines. Nearly as spacious as Buc-ee’s, with plenty of room to enjoy. Truly heaven sent food… 🥩🍗

“This is the 3rd Chinese BBQ skewer type restaurant we have been to since moving to Dallas. We liked this one the best. It had a wider variety of menu options and the spice levels were not overpowering. It is also open very late, which makes it a great spot for late night eats and group outings. “Great hole in the wall Mexican bbq place. I had some Al pastor tacos and brisket sandwich. The tacos had onions and cilantro and I got the green medium hot salsa (which was a good medium spice level). The brisket sandwich was good sized and came with pickles and onions and warmed bbq sauce.“

“As a Texan native, I've eaten many, many, types of BBQ. Some good, some great, some average, and some horrible. Bold BBQ was good. I had the sliced brisket sandwich with fried okra. My wife had the special grilled cheese with brisket and onions. My daughter had the cheese quesadilla and Mac n cheese. The brisket sandwich was good, I found the signature BBQ sauce a bit lacking in flavor, but it was a decent sauce. The brisket was tender and didn't have much grissel. I loved the fried okra. It was so crispy and delicious. Easily one of my favorite foods. My wife enjoyed her grilled cheese and my daughter her quesadilla and Mac n cheese.
All in all, it was a fine dinner and the live music was very enjoyable.“

The brisket was tender, juicy, and had a great smoke ring—definitely the highlight. The mac & cheese was creamy and comforting, and the beans had a rich, hearty flavor. “My husband and I ate here last night when we walked in the door the waitress (young lady) was warm and welcoming as she explain the food style to us. so we stayed and she helped explain the menu to us as everything was written in Chinese. We ordered a few items and loved the flavor! Spicy 🌶 was what she described the food would be, it was but the amounts of other spices and herbs balanced it out just right! We will be back lots more to try on this menu.“

“Katy trail is an excellent spot to unwind and enjoy a beer with a friend. I come here all the time with a buddy or two. Their beers are served nice and cold every time with thick glasses. A blue moon tastes better here than anywhere else. Couldn't say if it's the chilled drinks, the vibes, or that it's my third one, but they are excellent. Great spot to bring your dog and enjoy a drink and watch a game, great time here.“

The portion is a bit small. The 2-meat plate and 3-meat plate options are the same price, but I feel like even if I go for the 2-meat option, I would get the same amount of meat for each type as if I went for the 3-meat option. (picture is of my 1st visit and the portion was good. The subsequent times were when I started having this feeling).“

Went in there with the whole fam and some guests. Had a great time services is way better than what I expected.
And the food absolutely phenomenal we got the brisket burger, the brisket, lamb shank rice, Philly cheesesteak, and some mac n cheese
Everything was great in portion and taste.
Overall this was one of my best food and dining experience.
