“I enjoyed the employees and the food good but was VERY disappointed to find out I couldn’t get my baked potato with cheese only instead of the two sides at this location. I was told the baked potatoes at this location were only sold as stuffed entrees $15. Said this location is a part of a franchise and I recommended this needed to be posted at the front door. I did enjoy the spicy pinto beans and potato salad but it was not my normal baked potato with cheese I ALWAYS get from other locations.“

“Afraid to leave this review, because there will be lines out the door when the word gets out. But Earnest is such a good dude, and and he deserves all the success that comes hia way. Everything we tried was simply the best. This is our family's new favorite bbq place.“

“Just Wow! To start with the staff here was extremely friendly and helpful. The service was quick and efficient. The food was excellent. We had the Texas Twinkies, and they were phenomenal. We also had the jalapeño sausage, mac and cheese, and potato casserole. Everything was excellent. We will definitely be back. It was also cool looking at the huge smokers they have.“

“I am blown away by the customer service. I ordered a 2 lb meal for dinner tonight and when I realized I was missing one of my sides I called just with the hopes that maybe I would get a couple dollars refunded. No they went above and beyond to apologize and bring some dang beans to my house!!!! Now I don't live overly far from there but still that is incredible customer service. I go here almost once a week and every time the customer service is incredible. Not to mention the food. Businesses like these let you know there is still quality out there and incredible people! “Looked for some good BBQ, found the Tender Smokehouse in Frisco,Tx. They have a few other locations, so choose which one is a good fit for you and try them out. Let's get to the food, and the service. ( Side note) Just in case you haven't figured it out " I am a foodie", so here we go my honest opinion. I ordered the stuffed sweet potato with prime rib and all the trimmings and a side of their pineapple coleslaw. I have to be upfront, was I blown away ( not really). What I ordered was tasty, would I patronize again (yes), would I try the same dish ( absolutely). I wasn't disappointed, but I have a certain standard for food in general, especially bbq. The service was excellent. I would go back just for the service. They do get a thumbs up for sure.“

“Staff is amazing!! I feel like I'm at someone's ranch home and they invited me over to eat some great Q, drink something adult and listen to some live music among friends. This place is really something special! Hidden on the backroads outside of McKinney city limits is this outdoor only seating, cozy eatery w/ a small bar; if you weren't looking for it you might miss it! Mom and I found out this land and restaurant is owned by a South African native who raises his own cattle for the restaurant. We really enjoyed the ribs, brisket and sausage. DELISH!! Another cool piece to this place is the sweet/quaint country store inside. They sell things like homemade local salsas, raw meats and a few other specialty items. I would HIGHLY recommend this place especially during the warmer months!“

“Absolutely fantastic! The quaint entrance leads to a rustic inviting atmosphere. Every one of the staff members were extremely helpful and genuine. Lots of fan favorites are on the menu but the cashier was happy to help navigate it wonderfully. From the fresh brewed sweet tea to the little bottles of bbq sauce. It adds to the overall Texas nostalgia. Now, down to the food! I got a smoked Turkey baked potato the size of a softball fully loaded with butter, cheese, chives and sour cream. A children’s smoked turkey sandwich with a side of creamy mac&cheese and also the Tender twist on a Frito Pie which was filled with mac&cheese, baked beans, jalapeños, smoked brisket and onions. They even threw in a couple of extra treats just for showing up. A banana pudding and the true winner of the day which was their famous beans. It tasted like they were cooked over a grill in home made bbq sauce with brisket added in. In conclusion, a born and bread Texan will be returning for more soon!“

“Had impromptu guests from Louisiana who requested barbecue so I ordered from Bug Rays. The brisket is fabulous- beautiful smoke ring, fork tender and excellent flavor. Our potato salad and beans were delicious. It’s my new “go to” for barbecue, and I know barbecue!“

“Babyy when I tell yall I am so glad I came across this black owned BBQ joint in Frisco, yall just don’t know the half! Up until now, I thought Hutchins was as good as it gets but boy was I wrong! They DO barbecue, ok?! I’m talking family reunion/cookout barbecue! This was the three meat plate featuring the ribs, sausage and brisket. For sides I chose baked beans and dirty rice. “Dickys smokes their wings for 12 hours then flash freezes them and when you order them they fry them up fresh for you. The result is a smoked hot wing that tastes like heaven. Best wings around, try them! Most folks don’t think wings at a BBQ place, but you must try these wings. They’re huge too!!!Kid-friendliness: Free ice cream and their machine isn’t always broken like at McDonalds.“

“We had a great time here for a bd celebration! No reservations were made because we only had 5 in our party, but zero wait time at 6pm on a Sunday. The food just kept on coming and we definitely got our money's worth. Sitting down, cooking, eating, and talking together was enjoyable.“

Bread (white or wheat) are included, just tell them how many slices. Corn on the cob is the whole corn, no butter. No dairy in the meat too!Side bar has pickles, jalapenos and such. “WELL DONE!! This was our first time eating at a Dickies as we have just moved to Tx from out state a few months ago. We enjoyed it so much. The food was great, but the hospitality was fantastic. I wish we had gotten the two ladies names. They were both so nice. So whomever was working on April 6th around lunch time I want to thank you both for being so genuinely nice. “We walked into the normal standard Dickey's restaurant but we were pleasantly surprised immediately by the staff. They welcomed us in and asked which meats we wanted. My husband got the 3 meat plate choosing brisket, turkey and chicken with jalapeno beans, potato salad and pecan pie. I got turkey and double brisket with coleslaw, scalloped potatoes and jalapeno beans. After being served the meat of your choice you are now ready to pick your side items by grabbing a bowl then filling it with your choice side item. I kinda enjoyed that fact I could serve myself without waiting for someone else to do it. After sitting down we quickly begin eating The turkey was moist, the brisket was good neither had the intense smoke flavor I like but they were both still good. The jalapeno beans were very spicy, the coleslaw was fresh, crunchy with good flavor. The scalloped potatoes were cheesy however I felt a little salt and pepper was needed. All in all the food was good and reasonable priced.“

“Super chill spot, relaxed vibe on a late friday night. Ordered a whole grip of different skewers, along with the pea shoots and oysters.Everything tasted super fresh, packed with flavor and some satisfying heat. On the pricier side for sure if you're ordering to fill up. My waiter was super helpful in identifying what skewers were which and had some great recommendations for future orders.I'd love to come back with a group to try the whole fish and that soju watermelon I keep seeing around.Vegetarian options: Several veggie options, both as sides and grilled items. “$22.72 totally for 3 Meats Plate, with 2 sides and bbq sauce. Hot links and chicken are a must for us here! Brisket is leaner than Rudy's BBQ, and okay. Their meats are dairy free. Green beans was the only side that was dairy free.Chicken is moist. Hot links are crunchy.If there was a brisket in between Rudy's and Soulman's, that would be for me.Our second Texas bbq! It wasn't far from the hotel too. Their bbq sauce was tasty!!“

“The self-service kiosk was the only way to order. One of the stations was malfunctioning leaving a line and a long wait to place orders. The dining area is no frills, but has ample seating options that include choices for large groups, couples, and single diners. The orders took a little longer than expected to arrive at our table. The quality and flavor was good. I was disappointed that there was not much in the way of kimchi offerings. Overall this was a good dining experience.“
