This is one of the original locations in Texas, just celebrating 50 years. (I asked) Dont let the retro looking building fool you, the flavors and quality meat are second to none. Its pricy, but in this case you get what you pay for. Love love love the ribs. All side dishes are pretty BBQ standard, but fresh and yummy! The drive thru is a great convenience for those of us on the run. Am a regular life customer!
My son suggested barbeque and the location in Allen was great. Staff was very nice and he gave me some of that good extra fat, which was very good, you know with parts of meat and fat where the flavor.

$22.72 totally for 3 Meats Plate, with 2 sides and bbq sauce. Hot links and chicken are a must for us here! Brisket is leaner than Rudy's BBQ, and okay. Their meats are dairy free. Green beans was the only side that was dairy free.Chicken is moist. Hot links are crunchy.If there was a brisket in between Rudy's and Soulman's, that would be for me.Our second Texas bbq! It wasn't far from the hotel too. Their bbq sauce was tasty!!
