“Dinner with friends last night was wonderful! Great food, lots of laughs, and conversation made for a much needed night out! It was awesome to share a great meal with great friends! But, I loved how patient Muhammad was with me and all of my questions about their food at #Burnt Since I don’t eat meat & I’ve never been here before I wanted to make certain they had food that I could eat! 🍽️ We ordered several different items from their menu. But I am only going to review what I was able to eat. The meatless food. Their tequeños are absolutely delicious! The crispy golden outside and warm, melty cheese inside made them nothing short of awesome! Especially when paired with their dipping sauce. 🧀 Next I tried their cachapa & it was amazing! The sweet corn flavor and soft, golden texture made it simple & delicious. They are filled with melty cheese, then they become the perfect balance of sweet and savory. 🌽 Lastly, I tried their plantains! Oh my goodness! Plantains are such a delicious treat! They were perfectly cooked: golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and naturally sweet. They made for a simple, comforting, and satisfying side dish! 🍌 Would I go back? Absolutely, yes! 💯“

“This is the 3rd Chinese BBQ skewer type restaurant we have been to since moving to Dallas. We liked this one the best. It had a wider variety of menu options and the spice levels were not overpowering. It is also open very late, which makes it a great spot for late night eats and group outings. We will definitely be back!“

“The best ribs I've ever had. I bought half a rack and they included the rib caps. I got home and ate it all at just couldn't stop so I still have a spicy sausage and a Texas Twinkie left because I just couldn't stop eating those ribs they were that good.“

“We had the #1 Ramen, the meat combo plate and a bulgogi sticky bun. Everything was phenomenal! My daughter loved the glass noodles, rice and bulgogi meat and asked if we could come here all the time 🤗“

“True Texas BBQ is located inside HEB and is a lower cost BBQ restaurant. I ordered the 2 meat plate with burnt ends and turkey, and both meats surprisingly were not bad. The burnt ends were tender and flavorful, and the turkey was smokey and tender as well. For sides I got the caesar slaw which was a unique twist on a traditional slaw, and fried okra. Both sides were perfectly fine. Overall the food was better than I thought and decent for the price. Taste won't rival more dedicated BBQ places nearby like Hutchins or Tender Smokehouse, but is perfectly adequate for a quick decent meal. The interior is simple. Service is pretty slow with only one person manning the front and everyone else in the kitchen.“

“My husband and I ate here last night when we walked in the door the waitress (young lady) was warm and welcoming as she explain the food style to us. so we stayed and she helped explain the menu to us as everything was written in Chinese. We ordered a few items and loved the flavor! Spicy 🌶 was what she described the food would be, it was but the amounts of other spices and herbs balanced it out just right! We will be back lots more to try on this menu.“

“Their pork ribs are a standout dish. A must try when dining here. The sides are super fresh and flavorful. A little expensive seeing the portions but good quality food. The service was okay. The young Asian girl serving us came across a little rude and intimidating. The Hispanic server was super sweet. Always checking on us to make sure we are well taken care of and if we need anything. Just wish the girl was a little nicer. Had a great meal though. Very authentic food.“

Best BBQ I have had so far. Recommend the prime brisket. Think cuts of meat and left with a to-go box!!

“FIrst Time going to Longhorn Steakhouse. It was GREAT. Our waitress, Kayla, was TOP NOTCH. She was very friendly and her service was on point. Drinks, Bread and appetizers were out in record time. Jackie, THE MANAGER, was TOP NOTCH also. These 2 ladies made our 1st time to Longhorn Steakhouse so GREAT, we're planning to go back soon. The food was on point as well. I absolutely LOVE Brussels sprouts and Grilled corn, they fixed them to perfection. Seasoning, glazed and charr was perfect. I had the Cowboy Pork Chops (I know its a Steakhouse) because that's what I wanted. They were lip smacking good. The food was very satisfying. Go check it out for yourself. You won't be disappointed!!!“

“bb.q chicken is our go to place for wings and they have one of the best flavorful wings in town. Gang Nam Style is our favorite! We usually pair this with some Asian food such as basil fried rice or lo main noodles from other stores in the neighborhood. Staff is very friendly as well and attentive too!! Keep up the great work and consider adding baked wings !!“

“The decor is modem, the food was fresh and high quality. They only had hot pot but it was excellent! Reason for 4 starts is it would be nice if they had a few more Korean side dishes and our final order of prime beef was taking forever. Richard, one of the managers walked by and asked if we needed anything and he took care of it. Looking forward to the BBQ. If the quality of the seafood and meat continues to be the same we will be eating here all the time!!“

“Cantonese barbecue the old way. This is a branch of the Richardson original that has been at it since the early 1980s, and the roast duck with its crispy skin is still the reason to come. The roast duck wonton noodle soup is the order if you want it all in one bowl. Cash only, no frills, worth the wait at lunch. Thank you for keeping it consistent all these years. Five stars.“

I almost decided not to come because of some of the recent reviews, but I’m glad I gave this place a chance and judged it for myself.

My family and I came here for dim sum this weekend and had a very enjoyable experience. We ordered har gow, siu mai, BBQ pork buns, roast duck, and a few other dishes. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the flavors were exactly what we expected from a traditional dim sum restaurant. The har gow had a nice texture, the siu mai was flavorful, and the roast duck was surprisingly good.

The restaurant was busy when we arrived, which is usually a good sign. Despite that, the staff remained polite and checked on us throughout the meal. Food came out at a reasonable pace and we never felt ignored.

What stood out to me is how different my experience was compared to some of the recent negative reviews. I’m not saying every restaurant is perfect every single day, but sometimes reading online reviews makes it sound like people visited a completely different place. Based on my visit, the food was fresh, the service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant.

I’ve learned over the years that online reviews can be helpful, but they don’t always tell the full story. One person’s bad experience doesn’t necessarily represent what everyone else will experience. In our case, we left satisfied, full, and already talking about what we want to order next time.

If you’re considering coming here, I would recommend giving it a try and forming your own opinion instead of relying solely on a handful of recent reviews. We had a great meal and will definitely be back.“
