Their pork ribs are a standout dish. A must try when dining here. The sides are super fresh and flavorful. A little expensive seeing the portions but good quality food. The service was okay. The young Asian girl serving us came across a little rude and intimidating. The Hispanic server was super sweet. Always checking on us to make sure we are well taken care of and if we need anything. Just wish the girl was a little nicer. Had a great meal though. Very authentic food.
The food is delicious! My recommendation is to order several dishes to share—you will truly run out of room in your stomach trying to sample everything. There were three of us, and we ordered the Grilled Mackerel with Spicy and the Grilled Pork Ribs. Everything was incredible🤤🤤🤤. I couldn't order anything else because I was so full, but I will definitely be back soon to try more of their extensive menu. The service was great, too fast and attentive!

Based on the reviews, Maht Gaek Korean Restaurant offers authentic and delicious Korean food. The grilled pork ribs with original spicy sauce are super delicious, and the spicy pork ribs can be made with a special ‘secret sauce’. Other popular meals include the stir fry squid, Korean pancakes, and army stew. The ban chan is fresh, delicious, and solid. The restaurant is spacious with lots of tables. While the food is great, customers must control how much they order because the waitress will not stop them from ordering too much. The service from one waitress is very friendly and feels like home, though another waitress is not helpful. It is the favorite Korean restaurant in Plano and a top go-to place without having to drive to Carrollton.
