“Everything was so fresh & tender. I had a feeling the food wouldn't be as delicious as the reviews, but I was wrong. I enjoyed the brisket, smoked turkey, baked beans & the mac & cheese. The banana pudding was so yummy, creamy & fluffy.My only critics are the Mac & cheese noodles are cook al dente. I think it should be cooked just a few seconds more to soften them up a bit. The banana pudding could use a bit less banana flavoring. I dot care for the toast either. The butter/oil taste very cheap.I would love to see an addition of collard greens or smothered green beans added to the menu. Some type of veggie fresh/ raw would be great besides the onion slices.“
“I'm a little ways away from Marty B's but it was worth the drive to try it out. The parking is on gravel but there's a large area for it. I went for lunch so there wasn't any live music but the outdoor area had plenty of seating. I liked that there was both indoors and outdoors. The food was good. I can appreciate that they give you an option on lean of a little fatties slice of brisket as well. The jalapeño goes great on top of the meats. The sides were a little cold but nothing to complain about or leave a bad review. The sides are def not from KFC. The ambiance is nice. I'd drive the extra time to eat here.“
“We decided to try a new (to us) place for dinner. Chubz Spudz popped up and we went for it. The wait was really long, but ABSOLUTELY worth it! Holy smokes this stuff is yummy! We got the baked potato and 2 ribs combo. My goodness I haven't had ribs that tender in forEVER!!! And the potato???? Are you kidding me???? SOOOOOO GOOD! And the amount of food....HUGE!!! Amazing food, give them a try! We have enough leftover for lunch for the entire weekend!!!“
“On Sunday, we had a photo shoot next door to this place and of course arrived early. My daughter was “starving” and I decided to try out this place based on reviews.We ordered her a kids Brisket Sandwich and Mac n cheese to go. We actually shared it and it filled both of us up which is shocking because kids meals are normally so small. Ps…we tore everything apart and mixed it with the Mac and bbq sauce and OMG MOUTH WATERING. Lol. They even toast the buns! It was like our own bbq bowl.Service is ON POINT. I’m talking teenagers with manners and great customer service and great attitude! SO SWEET! We come from Frisco and don’t come to Lake Dallas, but I plan to come back just to try this place with the whole family! Prices were decent too and in my opinion I think this place is better than Hutchins.I normally take pics of all my meals but didn’t get the chance this time. “I love this place. I have lived in Denton for 2 months and have been there 8 times . Food is always great and the servers are always friendly and do a great job . The place makes you feel right at home.Parking: There is a lot of parking but at lunchtime and at dinner time you may find it hard to park because a lot of people find this place amazing“

“I really liked my experience but I don't know if it was incel conservative night at the bar but I felt a little uncomfortable haha.But the bar staff was extremely friendly. Especially shout outs to Annie. The manager dropped off. My food wanted me to cut into it to make sure my steak was cooked perfect. I'm going to come back. “Awesome place. Took the wife and 6 kids to check out a new to us place. Was hoping for quick, inexpensive and enough selection for all the crew. Staff helped us find the best deals, best choices and even hooked us up with family games to help pass the time (which was very short once everyone made a decision on what they wanted!) calzones, pizza rolls, cheese bread, cinnamon sticks. It was all great. “I have gone to 3 different Rudy's. They are very consistent from the food to the service. I absolutely recommend it. They give you a nice size portion. The brisket is juicy, flavorful, and lean upon request. It doesn't require sauce either. It's the best I've had. Their ribs are delicious, both pork and beef. The customer service definitely rivals CFA's customer service.“
“We have went by this place many times. We finally stopped in. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Their BBQ is good. The brisket is tender. I cut mine with a fork,no knife needed. The turkey was good and moist. You have to try the German potatoes too, they are really good. The staff is nice and friendly. The place was clean to. They also have a good assortment of beer. We will definitely be going back.“
