“We recently visited Quandary Kitchen & Market, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations. The menu offers a wide selection that truly caters to many palates. On this visit, we enjoyed the Black Diamond Blackened Chicken. The mix of flavors was incredible. We also had the fries, and they were outstanding. They reminded me of the fries I grew up on, the kind you could happily eat all day. The Margherita pizza featured a perfectly zesty sauce. To round it off, we tried the cheese tortellini with chicken. Let me just say, this dish is a can’t miss. The decor has such a fun ski lodge vibe. It is clear they put thoughtful effort into creating an atmosphere that stands out from so many other ordinary DFW restaurants. It feels warm, inviting, and unique. Lastly, the staff truly sets this place apart. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Eric was especially sweet. He made sure our to go items were packed with care, wished us well for the rest of our evening, and warmly invited us back. I have tried the brisket, pulled pork, chicken, turkey, ribs, mac and cheese, other side dishes, and soups. I have never been disappointed. JR is one of the friendliest, generous, and community- oriented individuals you would ever meet. I have had the opportunity to see his operation from the fire pits in the back, kitchen, and have always been highly impressed with the cleanliness of his facility. That speaks volumes to the importance of not just quality taste, flavor blending of smoke wood meats, but to the importance of food safety. “Dare I say that this spot rivals LSA Burger in terms of taste, and LSA has some of the best burgers I've ever had.

I ordered 2 sliders for $14, the Main Street and the Rail Sliders. Maria, the chef, cooked the beef to absolute perfection, medium rare, amazingly juicy patties, perfectly complimented with each ingredient. The Main Street used a slight bit of mustard with fried onion strings (basically small strings of onion rings), with cheddar, to create an almost sweet, rich slider. The Rail used cooked onion strings instead, with barbecue sauce and gouda cheese. This made for a much richer, deeply savory slider, one you'll definitely want to eat slowly.

I can't stress enough how well every component was cooked as well as how the all go together to create flavors that are so elegant. I'll definitely be returning. I will say that they are so decadent that you'll probably wish that the slider was a full sized burger instead. Hopefully one day!

I do not eat fatty brisket, so I had to mark that I did not receive the Regular lean brisket I ordered at all. (It is a bit ridiculous that if you click 'incorrect order' DoorDash only offers to give you $3 back. I will not eat the brisket given, so I am out $13, which is why I had to click that I never received the Regular lean brisket.) I know this is set up through Door Dash, but since you do business with them, I believe it would be good to know.“

“Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on I-35E in Denton is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their brisket is tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokiness, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are just as good—mac & cheese, baked potato casserole, and fried okra are absolute must-haves.
