About Old House BBQ

Old House BBQ is a cozy restaurant known for its mouth-watering brisket, sausage, and tender brisket sandwiches. The 3 meat plate, which includes brisket, ribs, and sausage, comes with two sides such as jalapeno beans and loaded mashed potatoes. Customers praise the BBQ sauce, which can be enjoyed on its own, and the meat that is fall-off-the-bone tender, making it a great place for good eats. Many enjoy the buffet-style veggies and salads, including green beans and broccoli/cauliflower salad, which add variety to the meal. The restaurant’s interior is rustic and always very clean and organized, though a bit dark. Outside, there are shaded picnic tables that add charm for those who prefer to dine outdoors. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant features a great ice cream machine for kids. Although it is a small place, planning ahead is recommended, especially for parking, which can be a free-for-all, but extra parking is available behind the building. The quality of barbecue tends to be better the further north you go, adding to the charm of Old House BBQ. Recently, customers have enjoyed the “fall off the bone” ribs and the variety of meats, including sliced brisket, chopped brisket, pulled pork, ham, and turkey. The Sunday special, which includes three pork meats and two sides, offers hearty portions at a reasonable price. Overall, it is highly recommended for those seeking delicious barbecue and friendly service in a relaxed family-restaurant feel.
