“Their meat stands alone, which, for BBQ in Texas, is not something you find very frequently. (Most places I've visited as a BBQ lover, they hide the dryness of their meat with sauce.) The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, and the employees are good-hearted people.“
“Growing up in Arlington, Texas we frequently visited the original Spring Creek location. Yesterday was my grandfather’s 92 birthday and he wanted Spring Creek rolls and barbecue. This Keller location is the closest to them so we met there. Upon entering the facility was organized and clean. Going through the line was as easy as ever and the staff was friendly. The veggies and meats were just how I remembered them. They were fresh, moist, and that signature Spring Creek sauce! The manager at this location Tommy went out of his way to make my grandfather feel special. That was super appreciated by all of us! Definitely worth a stop here if you are in the area!Parking: Plenary of parking out frontKid-friendliness: Perfect for kids“
“Depends on location and franchise, but lower stars on food due to size of chicken tenders, on a larger box. Definitely need to ensure your not giving a bunch of nugget sized tenders to customers. Ensure they are getting bang for their buck.“
“Hands down the best greens at any restaurant, and I don't really like greens. I had the baked potato stuffed with chopped brisket. EXCELLENT! The meat tasted like it had been smoked overnight and seasoned perfectly. I will definitely revisit this place. Amazing family atmosphere. They make you feel like you're at home.“
“This is a must try in the Dallas area. You get to see all the food on the smoker as you order- they pick it and plate it right in front of you. They'll chop your brisket if you like it that way. You can also order a steak right as you walk in. They cook it to order- so you can get it how you like it.I got the beef ribs. Holy smokes was it good! I'm not usually a beef rib person, but the gentleman at the pit recommended it. They were so tender and juicy! The fat was just barely held together. As soon as you took a bite the fat melted with the bark and it was a flavor experience that defies description. The sides were grab and go. I suggest you try the potato salad with mustard, and the mac and cheese. If you like beans, I have great news: They're free! If you dine in, you can have all the jalapeno beans you want. They've got some kick, and there are some pieces of sliced sausage floating around in there. There are also two types of sauce to try- their classic and a slightly spicier version.Delicious. If you're in the area give it a try. If you're not in the area, go to the area and give it a try.“
“Folks better put some respect on Roy Hutchins name. Great food, great service, and outstanding atmosphere/ambience. Dining in makes it all worth the trip. Must tries…the Texas Twinkie and the fried okra. Fried okra isn’t overly breaded, and the Texas Twinkie is just divine. Will definitely go back again.“
“My friends and I went to TX for a business trip, 5 of us went to eat here and ohhh yummy yummy. I had the BBQ pulled pork and fries. Hands down the best ever. My friends absolutely loved their meals too. <3 everyone was so friendly. “
“We decided we wanted BBQ served at our reception dinner following our wedding and we are so happy we went with Patriotic Pig. They served brisket, sausage, and smoked chicken breast with mac&cheese, burnt-end beans, bacon green beans, bacon ranch potato salad, and coleslaw. All the food was delicious and all the guests were raving about the food.We also had appetizers served during cocktail hour. They served street tacos, brisket and pulled pork sliders, and Texas tater skins, all were a big hit with us and our guests! It was the perfect amount of food to keep our guests happy until dinner was served. We also opted for a dessert bar that featured Uncle Willie's pies which were absolutely delicious. My husband and I had a sampling of the pies for breakfast the day after our wedding and they were absolutely delicious!“
“Ribs are amazing! Better than I can make at home. Make sure to get a couple. Jalepeno sausage is also great. Brisket was good and burnt ends (only available on Sat and Mon) could have been hotter (temp wise). Green beans were our preferred side. Very flavorful.“
“Everything is homemade. Even the bread and pickles are homemade from my understanding. Our favorites for meat are burnt ends and pulled pork. For sides, our favorites are Elote Corn, Onion Rings, and everyone's favorite Mac n Cheese. We saw the chef there today.“
