“When I tell y’all this food is sent from heaven, I mean it! I found this place when I was looking for places to order on DoorDash. The reviews were so good that I decided to just go up there because everyone speaks so highly of the owners. Be prepared to wait about 15 minutes, but it’s worth every minute sat!! I got 2 of the brisket tacos and a brisket bbq potato. It’s freaking huge! I’m going to try to the brisket sandwich next time because a family that are regulars were up there waiting on their food and told me I gotta try it next! I will be back this weekend. 😆“

Perfect food after playing baseball at the Denton fields and great value for the plates- the most expensive we saw was 10.99 and the portions are generous. Will return anytime we're in Denton“

“We just ordered through DoorDash and received Moist Brisket instead of Regular lean brisket ordered. I do not eat fatty brisket, so I had to mark that I did not receive the Regular lean brisket I ordered at all. (It is a bit ridiculous that if you click 'incorrect order' DoorDash only offers to give you $3 back. I will not eat the brisket given, so I am out $13, which is why I had to click that I never received the Regular lean brisket.) I know this is set up through Door Dash, but since you do business with them, I believe it would be good to know.“

“Dickey’s Barbecue Pit on I-35E in Denton is hands down one of the best barbecue spots around! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Their brisket is tender and juicy with just the right amount of smokiness, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The sides are just as good—mac & cheese, baked potato casserole, and fried okra are absolute must-haves.

The staff is always friendly and welcoming, making the dining experience even better. The place is clean, well-maintained, and perfect for a casual meal with friends or family.“

“I think this Dickey’s may be under new management, because the food tasted absolutely amazing, and I’ve been to Dickey’s plenty of times before. The manager mentioned they prepare their food overnight, and you can definitely tell the difference.
I had the chicken, sausage, and ribs. The ribs were falling off the bone, the sausage was solid, and the smoked chicken had a great smoky flavor while still being extremely tender.
What really stood out to me, though, was the customer service. The manager personally took my order and clearly cares about the customers. At one point, he noticed someone left their drink behind and literally ran out the front door to make sure they got it back.
That kind of service, combined with the quality of the food, definitely makes this location worth coming back to.“
