Ive never even been able to enjoy the birria taco trend yet. the first time I tried the mix and match taco platter to see which oneI liked most.. the verdict? The Birria tacos of course. The rice and beans were yummy but the star food the show hands down was the tres leches cake. It is TO DIE FOR. This place is well worth the money in my opinion and will be ordering here frequently.”

I was furious at my clumsiness because I wasted a fair portion of it.They even refilled my glass after cleaning the mess I MADE!I will be coming back as often as I can when I make it back to Denton. This will be my number one stop.”

“Excellent service. Excellent food. Pancakes were served nice and hot and perfectly cooked. Hot syrup too. The Mediterranean omelette was cooked to perfection. Nice side of fresh fruit. The Starwood eggs benedict were perfect. ( I asked for the hollandaise on the side). Several side dish options. I chose hash browns and cooked crispy, as requested. The coffee was hot and full- bodied. Lots of options on the menu, including gluten free. Belgian waffles. Biscuits. Eggs. Oatmeal. Highly recommend.”
“Nice intimate place with great atmosphere. I had the beef souvlaki which was very very good, and then I took a bite of my wife's chicken kabob and was completely blown away by the perfectly cooked and wonderfully spiced chicken! I have not had chicken that was as tasty as this, ever. It was not till we were leaving that I learned from the owner that she and her husband had operated this restaurant for 30 years in the same location. That is just amazing and I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly!”

Atmosphere is casual, but romantic for those who love a hole in the wall, local eatery. Love the food - the Thai salad roll with tofu and peanut sauce is a must, as is the Thai coffee and Thai tea. If you're looking for warm and comforting try the yellow curry! Denton has a ton of great Thai options, and this is one of the best.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options, tofu substitute for proteins in most dishes.”

“Service was fast & helpful for our first visit. It's a small little place but is decorated up cute/trendy. We ordered the Rigatoni with Sunday sauce with the Chicken Parmesean and the Brussels and potatoes as well. When I say plates were cleaned, I mean if we wouldn't have been judged we'd have licked them clean! Thr limited menu and attentive staff is so awesome and it makes you want to come in and try everything as the menu changes. Parking can be...well challenging which is the only reason they didn't get a 5 star review. This place is so representative of what makes Denton Denton... so worth a try. We'll be back very very soon!”

“Came up to Ponder for the morning to pick Strawberries and hit this little place for breakfast on the way back to DFW. I'm not a big biscuits and gravy person but their's was outstanding! Eggs, breakfast meats- all good and tasty. Wife had the crepes and finished all of it (she's a little picky being Italian and a great cook herself!) Prices well aligned for being a college city. This restaurant is worth the stop.”

“Brought my family of 12 in yesterday for my son's birthday. I did make a reservation originally for 10 of us. But since it was 2 more added we had to wait around 60 min. Appetizers came out kind of quick. Half of them was cold half was steaming hot. It took us around an 1 hr n 20 min to receive our food. We figured since it took so long we would receive it hot and fresh. Nope every last one of our orders was ice cold with no heat. I ordered my steak well done it came out medium well. I wasn't to happy overall with how long we had to wait for a spot to fit 2 others. And how our food came out. We paid a decent amount there for that to have happened to us. I can say the best thing was the rolls.”

“I stopped in this evening after a very long day at work, because I received a coupon that I wanted to use. I just wanted to take a second to brag on the young man James, who was working the counter. He was very patient with me while I had a somewhat complicated food order, then also proceeded to pay with some change, as well as my credit card. I know how frustrating difficult orders can be, especially in a fast food, setting sometimes, but he remained very professional, and even went above and beyond to make sure I had specific items I asked for. I frequent a lot of Whataburger, and sadly, this is not the level of service that I receive most of the time. Kudos to James and the team at this Whataburger closest to me. They are always on point! Thanks yall!”

Had a good soundtrack and enjoyed our mother-daughter breakfast.Parking: Parking is a little difficult as the lot is small and restaurant is located next to a 7-9 lane highway and intersection with the interstate. There is more parking on the backside of building. Has 3-4 handicap parking spaces on the front side of the building but parking spaces are located away from the building. People who use the handicap parking will need to walk across the drive thru lanes to enter the building.Kid-friendliness: Nice atmosphere, kind staff, and comfy seating that my 6yo was able to easily sit in.Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking. Wheelchair ramp. Automatic doors. Some structures may cause narrow passages to maneuver but has tables and counters that are wheelchair accessible.”

“Im in love with this Japanese Ramen restaurant! I took my kids here for spring break a few days ago and we loved it! The food is so flavorful and delicious! It’s also all very healthy! The food is all very unique and you can eat with chopsticks if you want to! My sons got the Tonkotsu Ramen and they loved it!I got the veggie tempura sushi and the avocado rolls they were so delicious!That was some of the best sushi I have ever had! We got the heart attack roll for one of our appetizers and it was amazing! It looks really awesome to! It is fried avocados with a few different sauces drizzled on them! I posted a picture of it! You have to try it’s delicious! We also got the korrokke which is like a Japanese style fried potato with a delicious sauce! The korrokke and heart attack roll are the best appetizers on the menu in my opinion!The atmosphere is also very fun and well decorated! This is a very fun and unique restaurant with delicious food! All of the servers were super sweet to us also! They were very attentive and they were always there if we needed something!!”

“A very quaint sub shop that bases it's atmosphere around the history of New York. Kind of an odd ball when considering it's location, but the food is excellent, the service is of the highest quality, and it's actually pretty cool to experience art and history that's culturally significant to another place while enjoying a sub. Prices are very fair. I was almost surprised to see a reasonable bill the first time I went. My only real complaint is entirely personal preference and that is that the Cajun style sub doesn't remind me of Cajun food in the slightest. It's still a great sub by itself, but it's very lightly seasoned and not spicy as most folks tend to associate with Cajun food. Overall, it's kind of hard to do better than New York Sub-Way when you're looking for a sub.”

I haven’t found very many authentic Mexican restaurants in Denton that make Chicken Mole. So I was so excited when I came across Don Chiquitos! They have the best Chicken Mole I have ever had! It was so full of flavor and I also got so full!They give you really big portion sizes! It’s also really affordable a lot more affordable than most restaurants! I have also tried their Al pastor tacos and they are amazing! Im already addicted to Don Chiquitos food and the cheap prices too! This is my new go to authentic Mexican restaurant at the moment!”

This location was formerly Rick's Bar and Grill. Then Cafe Brazil came and took it over. So the parking was designed for a bar and restaurant.”

This restaurant had high reviews, the food pics look good, so I said why not give it a try?I placed a pick up order online from their website and parked and went inside to get my food. I did notice they do have a drive through and curbside pick up. Inside was pretty spacious and it had a few people eating around lunch time on a weekday. My food was ready when I went to get it, which was awesome.General Tso's chicken was very delicious. The piece of chicken meat was fresh and tasty and good pieces, but the tough and chewy parts of the chicken. The flavor was good, not too sweet or spicy. However I wish they had broccoli included. The rice was steamed food and tastes as you would expect white rice from a Chinese restaurant to taste like, bland to mild flavor (It's white rice).I definitely would recommend this spot and you should try them out too. I know I'll be back!”

Both are deserving of raises/promotions and I always look forward to coming in because I know that they will make my order exactly how I asked for it. “It's a little hole in the wall. You have to have a reservation and you better prep yourself. Cozy sushi bar area seating around 10. They have a small table in a separate room and a small bartop. The food is prepared by the owner in front of you if you choose sushi. He apparently trained under an Italian for a while and the tiramasu is to die for ( both the normal and the green tea). We chose to have the chefs choice for our meal and it was chosen well!!! The food is priced a little high but you get what you pay for. If you leave there unsatisfied, I would say you intended to. 5 out of 5. I just wish I could find another reservation this year!”

My sisters and I shared so many different ones which was a great way to try more of the great flavors on the menu.The Rosemary Maple Bourbon Smash or the China Doll (may not be on the menu, so just ask for it) were my two favorites. The Whiskey Smash was a little too sour/tart for my liking but still made with love! The dude had WONDERFUL coffee flavor as expected with coffee liqueur made in house!Definitely worth a stop if in the area. Would be a regular bar for me if I lived here!”

The sweet tea was decent, if it would've been cold.The onion rings are PERFECT! So good, I could've eaten just that!My husband got the Spicy Fried Pickles. I didn't care for them, but he enjoyed them.With all those sides, we saved our burgers to take home.My biggest complaint is that when we got home to eat our burgers, they were dry. Kind of an odd ball when considering it's location, but the food is excellent, the service is of the highest quality, and it's actually pretty cool to experience art and history that's culturally significant to another place while enjoying a sub. Prices are very fair. I was almost surprised to see a reasonable bill the first time I went. My only real complaint is entirely personal preference and that is that the Cajun style sub doesn't remind me of Cajun food in the slightest. It's still a great sub by itself, but it's very lightly seasoned and not spicy as most folks tend to associate with Cajun food. Overall, it's kind of hard to do better than New York Sub-Way when you're looking for a sub.”
