“I was recommended this place by a co-worker.All I can say is it’s truly an outstanding experience.I have had sushi from many places, most okay, some good, fewer great one and this one honestly has been the best yet.James and his son Jason along with the other staff are warm and welcoming. James gave me sushi recommendations based off what I enjoy.The cucumber lemonade made in house is wonderful. Until you make a klutz mistake and waste it all by spilling all over yourself like I did. I was furious at my clumsiness because I wasted a fair portion of it.They even refilled my glass after cleaning the mess I MADE!I will be coming back as often as I can when I make it back to Denton. This will be my number one stop.“
“I’m a very picky person and my waiter I got was amazing! She helped me out to figure out what I might like and big Kudos to her I was panicking a bit lol.I can’t remember the exact name of what I got but it was the spicy Ramen and I got shrimp in it too! I enjoy hot Cheetos and Takis so this might be for someone else too! I thought it wasn’t spicy enough but it’s super good!! But again I do appreciate the lady that helped me out cause I’m definitelyEating the same thing again.“
“It's a little hole in the wall. You have to have a reservation and you better prep yourself. Cozy sushi bar area seating around 10. They have a small table in a separate room and a small bartop. The food is prepared by the owner in front of you if you choose sushi. He apparently trained under an Italian for a while and the tiramasu is to die for ( both the normal and the green tea). We chose to have the chefs choice for our meal and it was chosen well!!! The food is priced a little high but you get what you pay for. If you leave there unsatisfied, I would say you intended to. 5 out of 5. I just wish I could find another reservation this year!“
“This place is the BOMB! The restaurant is very clean, and welcoming(with very kind owners). All the food I have ordered was made fresh, and tasted wonderful(with very generous portion amounts). I will definitely be back when I’m craving salmon Poke!“
“This is my favorite place in denton. Not even restaurant, PLACE! The staff is so friendly and the food is incredible as well as affordable. For the quality of the food, the prices should be so much higher than they are. I’ve been going to eat there pretty regularly since around 2020 and I’ve never been disappointed. The service is quick that we are usually in and out of there in 30-45 minutes when it isn’t super busy. Also, the space is small, so when they are busy it can be a bit crowded, but it’s so worth it.“
“This is my go to, neighborhood place. We go here often. Twice a month, which is often for us. The staff is always spot on and helpful with suggestions when I ask. The food and presentation are wonderful every time. I don't get many pictures. I am usually face down in it before I remember to take one.I hope your experience is as good or better than mine!“
“Blue Ginger is a small and quaint sushi and hibachi restaurant. They have plenty of roll options, but very limited sashimi and nigiri options. The hibachi is good. I have always received attentive service. Blue Ginger is a nice option for a casual date night.“
“Our 1st time trying this place. We haven’t had any luck with finding a good sushi place since living in Denton for 5 years. Restaurant is clean and neat. Sushi chefs are Japanese which is a plus point. Servers can be a little bit more friendly. We ordered miso soups, a deep fried roll, salmon and tuna sashimi. The order came with salad. The salad didn’t look appetizing to me. The miso soup and deep fried roll were ok. The best part that we came for is the Sashimi was so so fresh. We would come back for the sashimi. Maybe just personal reference, we don’t like rolls with too much sauce on them.“
