“Our first time trying this restaurant was great. We had the crab Rangoon, shrimp hibachi with fried rice, shrimp and steak teriyaki with fried rice, and Philadelphia rolls. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. The crab Rangoon actually tasted like crab and was freshly made. The sushi was delicious. The rice bowls were tasty and the serving was generous. The customer service was impeccable. We were treated very well and even though we went close to closing no one was rude or rushed us out the building. I would certainly go back and I do recommend them.“

“Anytime I am in the Frisco area, I make sure to stop by here and get my Japanese curry fix! First finding Coco Ichibanya in Tokyo back in 2016 and falling in love with the food, and then finding it throughout Taiwan and then in LA and finally unbelievably one opens up in Plano Texas!! If you haven't tried it out yet do so!! The staff is super nice esp the manager who always treats myself and my family with the utmost respect. Food is piping hot and the flavor is what makes Coco Ichibanya what it's all about!“

“Came to Madai Sushi today for the first time. I was with a group of business owners and they were gracious and accommodated our large group. The service was great and the food was excellent. I had the Tom Ka soup. I am very particular with my soup and this was some of the best I’ve ever had. I am definitely going back. Can’t wait to try more of their food. The sushi/sashimi menu may seem daunting at first, but after a bit of looking, it is pretty self-explanatory.

If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“We drove to 4 different places looking for hibachi, and finally found this gem! Every other restaurant didn’t have grills where they cook for you. The prices were great and our servers were awesome.

The only thing I will say is we thought it was strange that it costs an extra $3 for fried rice on every plate at the hibachi table, or else you only got steamed rice- no noodle option either.“

“The staff was friendly, I ordered their honeydew milk tea with boba and the spicy tuna roll. The size is more of a Japanese size than an American size, that said, I am full after eating one whole roll by myself. The flavor of the sushi was very good, the fish and the avocado both tasted fresh and I liked the addition of the sesame seeds. The spicy roll itself wasn't too spicy (for me), but the wasabi was spicy (which is good because that means I could actually taste it! It wasn't watered down like how some places give you). The ginger was also very flavorful. Overall very well balanced sushi, with good quality ingredients. The ingredients are what make this place good ?“

“Wow! The bowls were great. Everything was fresh and a good amount of food. They have plenty of choices for your bowls and just as many choices in sushi rolls. They are very reasonably priced. If you go during their happy hour 2-5 then you can get some killer inexpensive rolls. We tried their Salmon Skin roll. It was really good. We will definitely be back. If you like sushi and want to try something a little different go and give them a shot.“

“Excellent service throughout our stay, even though we paid up front. I appreciate the help with our family of 5, even though they weren't necessarily working for a tip.

The food was very tasty, cooked and seasoned well; all for a great price considering the additional side dishes. Large servings which we all enjoyed the following day.

The atmosphere is clean and quiet. Definitely recommend and will visit again.

“I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and found the cutest most amazing coffee shop on my way home. I got a pistachio latte with almond milk and it was so good!! Perfect amount of sweetness , not too much and not too little. Also some of their flavor syrups are made in house!“
