“Really good Japanese spot in Frisco/Little Elm area. It’s pricy but worth it at least once. The Chilean sea bass was probably the best Chilean sea bass I’ve had at a restaurant. Really good sushi, too (handroll and nigiri). The espresso martini was amazing. All the food we had was great (we ordered a lot).Shoutout to the green tea mochi ice cream and chocolate cake. “We came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasnt busy at all! The sushi chef and staff were so nice and attentive.The sushi was fresh and sooo good! I usually judge a place on their ama ebi (sweet shrimp) and if it's really fishy or not but theirs was so good!! My dad had the uni and he said it was a touch sweet, super fresh, and had that perfect sea saltiness. They also had a yuzu truffle scallop and toro dish that was amazing!Their regular salmon is automatically salmon belly and their tuna is bluefin tuna! Great quality and service. The Owner - Armando - was gracious and attentive and we were chatting with him before, during, and after our meal. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated by Myra. Fortunately, we spent quite a bit of time browsing the Food Menu online and knew what we wanted to order prior to our arrival.We started things off with some Mango Margaritas with tajin on the rim (which kicked it up a notch). The flavor and spice profile hit the sweet spot just right. Chips and Red/Green Salsa were brought to the table piping hot and ready for dipping. Excellent! Then came the entrées - Mom ordered one Vampiro and one Pollo Taco with a side of Rice & Beans. I ordered a Quesa Birria and a Mar Y Tierra Taco with a side of Rice and Beans. So freaking good! And…Mexican Flan for dessert! Phenomenal! This was a perfect way to end a meal. Not too decadent but also didn’t leave still feeling hungry.It is clear that the Owner takes pride in his culinary skills and expertise and it truly shines through. You can tell that everything is made from scratch. Nothing canned or microwaved here. Food portions, taste, and quality - all right on point. The flavor and spices meld together on the palate and complement each other very nicely. It’s like I was teleported to a different realm of consciousness. “Spent the evening in the cigar bar, it was a bit busier than usual I heard. Great waitstaff, excellent wine recommendations, food took forever but it was 100% worth the wait. My daughter and I had come in and ordered four poke bowls (All which were absolutely delicious by the way). We had to make many modifications on the bowls due to the pickiness of my kids, and the cashier at the counter was more than happy to assist us. She handled all the modifications like a champ, and was smiling and laughing along with us as well. After chatting with her for a bit, we waited for our order which took barely any time at all. Upon seeing the order on the table, I realized that the chef spoke very little English, so it was a little difficult for him to properly understand everything. After seeing a slip of paper next to our packed up order, we realized that she was kind enough to physically draw out a picture of the order and labeled it with all additions for the chef, which made it a lot easier for him to understand. She handled the situation like a pro, and every single order of ours was correct! I had asked for her name upon leaving, which I believe was Fiza. Never do I see such acts of kindness and cheery attitudes anymore, and this was very refreshing to see. One negative was the Miso soup it was WAY too salty. One positive was that the Seaweed Salad was fresh and had no slime pooling at the bottom. As far as sushi goes it was average.
