“An exceptional restaurant and dining experience! Personal attention from the chef/owner and co-owner. The food is creative, elegant, surprising. The touch is subtle and balanced. Oh yeah, delicious, too! I left so full I didn’t eat for 12 hours, but that’s my fault …“
“This place is the best sushi in town; and the ramen, bento boxes, mochi icecream, curry and robata are also really good. The staff is really on point as well--all Japanese. Our favorite rolls are the Golden Bridge Roll, ninja roll, and the spicy tuna tataki. We've eaten here 5 times in the last quarter and will keep coming back.“
“I’m so glad that Pokeworks opened a location near my home… close enough anyway, but feel free to open one in McKinney too! ?The sushi burritos & pokebowls are heaven! Everything is fresh & delicious. The leadership does a good job of hiring team members, as they are all friendly.“
“I have heard only great things about this place and finally got a chance to stop in for lunch today with my Mom. Sr. Ozzy’s hit it out of the park. The Owner - Armando - was gracious and attentive and we were chatting with him before, during, and after our meal. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted and seated by Myra. She brought us waters while we browsed the cocktail menu. Fortunately, we spent quite a bit of time browsing the Food Menu online and knew what we wanted to order prior to our arrival. We started things off with some Mango Margaritas with tajin on the rim (which kicked it up a notch). The flavor and spice profile hit the sweet spot just right. Chips and Red/Green Salsa were brought to the table piping hot and ready for dipping. Excellent! Then came the entrées - Mom ordered one Vampiro and one Pollo Taco with a side of Rice & Beans. I ordered a Quesa Birria and a Mar Y Tierra Taco with a side of Rice and Beans. So freaking good! And…Mexican Flan for dessert! Phenomenal! This was a perfect way to end a meal. Not too decadent but also didn’t leave still feeling hungry. It is clear that the Owner takes pride in his culinary skills and expertise and it truly shines through. You can tell that everything is made from scratch. Nothing canned or microwaved here. Food portions, taste, and quality - all right on point. The flavor and spices meld together on the palate and complement each other very nicely. It’s like I was teleported to a different realm of consciousness. Everything about our visit was reminiscient of and giving me SoCal Vibes. We will be back to try other Menu items (namely the Mexican Sushi - the Baconador) and I can promise you that we will be regulars here going forward. True standouts for our first visit were Myra and Armando. We enjoyed the delightful conversation. Thanks so much and we’ll be back again soon!“
“Spent the evening in the cigar bar, it was a bit busier than usual I heard. Great waitstaff, excellent wine recommendations, food took forever but it was 100% worth the wait. My favorites were the wedge salad, medium rare filet and fried rice, (reminded me of boudin!) perfectly put together/cooked and mouthwatering good!“
“Very nice sushi bar; various salmon nigiris tasted very fresh, juicy and delicious. Hand roll, sushi roll and riceless roll were also good. Recommended to visit and try.The servers were friendly and helpful; they came frequently to check if we needed something else. The restaurant looked clean. It’s good to seat at the bar to watch the sushi chef preparing the food.Parking: Large parking lot with enough parking space.“
“Go here! ? The place was very clean. Loved the restaurant decor and all the pretty neon lights. They made our birthday girl feel special, gave her a light up crown. It was such a cute and special birthday celebration. Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Loved the ice tea, gyoza both chicken and pork were great. Loved, the salad, the hibachi chicken with noodles. Hubby loved the sea bassThe hibachi chef could have talked and smiled a little bit more, but he did play with us. Shot drinks in our mouth and tossed veggies at us, so that was fun. We will definitely come back. The kids loved getting Andes mints and a dum dum as we left.“
“Our absolute favorite place for sushi, noodles, apps and desserts! They have a great kids menu and sushi for happy hour. The food is fresh and our waiter Eliot is always super friendly! They even offer specialty vegan roll (Bangkok roll) which is my fav!Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free optionsKid-friendliness: Great kids menu with multiple options (chicken, fish, noodles, etc)“
“Upon perusing their extensive menu, I was drawn to their selection of cooked rolls, each promising a symphony of flavors that would tantalize the taste buds. As I embarked on my culinary journey, I found myself enchanted by the exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail evident in every dish. The first roll I sampled was the Dragon Roll. A true masterpiece, it boasted a perfect balance of succulent shrimp tempura, creamy avocado, and crisp cucumber, all enveloped in a delicate layer of sushi rice and crowned with slices of fresh, buttery eel. The interplay of textures and flavors was nothing short of divine, leaving me craving for more with each blissful bite. Next up was the Spider Roll, a delightful concoction that showcased the restaurant's commitment to culinary excellence. Featuring crispy soft-shell crab, crunchy cucumber, and velvety avocado, this roll was a symphony of contrasting textures and harmonious flavors, elevated by a drizzle of tangy eel sauce and a sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds. However, the true star of the show was undoubtedly the Volcano Roll. As its name suggests, this roll erupted with bold, fiery flavors that left me utterly mesmerized. A delectable combination of spicy tuna, creamy crab, and crisp tempura flakes, all wrapped in a blanket of rice and topped with a decadent layer of torched spicy mayo, it was a culinary spectacle that ignited my senses and left me craving for more. To complement my meal, I indulged in a selection of their expertly crafted cocktails, each meticulously crafted to enhance the flavors of the dishes. From the refreshing citrus notes of the Yuzu Martini to the subtle sweetness of the Lychee Sake-tini, each sip was a revelation, further elevating my dining experience to new heights. In conclusion, my experience at Bluefin was nothing short of extraordinary. From the impeccable service to the exquisite cuisine, every aspect of my visit surpassed my expectations. If you're a discerning food lover in search of an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Bluefin. Trust me; your taste buds will thank you.“
“I really like their hibachi. Best hibachi I have ever eaten so far. My family also likes to go and eat here. It’s not a top tier restaurant, but it shouldn’t be. It’s really nice place for express one with tasty food for a reasonable price and convenient service, which I definitely recommend.“
“We ordered 2 dinner specials($25 total), 2 spicy tuna rolls, Red&White (top) and the Spider roll. Our rolls were delicious, generously filled, the layer of rice was fluffy/thin and didn't fall apart when picking it up. While we ordered out, the inside was clean and modern and the staff was friendly. I'll be back ASAP and recommend a visit if you're nearby.“
“THIS is our absolute favorite sushi restaurant in North Dallas! The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. Henry was our waiter tonight and was AMAZING!!!! He was so kind, so quick, and seemed impressed we finished two entire plates of sushi! At the very end of the meal they treat you to complimentary orange slices and it’s quite literally the most perfect lasting impression! You leave feeling very full but clean, citrusy, and fresh! 10/10 recommend! They also offer gluten free options!!“
“My husband and I have lived in Dallas for over 20 years and this is by far one of the best Japanese ramen places we have ever eaten at!Their ramen here is very authentic, just like what we eat in Japan. The special sushi rolls are also delicious and look beautiful. We ordered the Muteki roll, which was like a work of art, so much so that we were reluctant to eat it !This place has bright décor with a high-ceilinged space that allows you to dine happily in a relaxed atmosphere. The price is also very reasonable, so you can enjoy high-end food at an average price. We will definitely come back to eat here often because it is so good! “Always consistent and delicious. Great value. The wait staff is always super friendly and have great recommendations if you're not quite sure what to order. The off menu items on the chalk board are worth trying. We tried the kanpachi sashimi and it was amazing. This place is one of our favorites for great sushi.“
“A HIDDEN GEM!! I absolutely love it here. Authentic Japanese cuisine, very small intimate seating & atmosphere. The sweetest staff… the food is incredible and service is personable. They also have a great omakase you’ll need to notify ahead of time definitely recommend if you’re not familiar with what to order.“
“Daniel was our server and made our visit super special (it was for my husband's birthday). He greeted us by asking whose birthday it was and was all smiles and genuine positive regard. He was helpful by always checking in with us to see if we needed anything. He was kind and brought a birthday dessert to our table! The sushi is always AMAZING at Edoko - best in the area!“
“Nice place for sushi . Options of sushi are good. Few main course available. If first time they will help you how ordering works else they don’t bother and you can just enjoy the food. There are couple of vegetarians options and they were good too. Overall would say great for seafood based sushi.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Frisco 469, and I must say, their sushi rolls exceeded all expectations. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to ensure a memorable dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Frisco 469 for anyone craving exceptional sushi and top-notch service.“
“Found this place by chance, SO SO GOOD. Whether you are visiting or live in the area, please try this place. The food is fresh and flavorful, the atmosphere is welcoming and clean, and the staff are soooooo super friendly. They also have complimentary miso soup and it was the best miso soup ever!!! Highly recommend!“
“So good it made me realize how bad the other sushi places i been to areI've been here three times now and everything was perfect every time. I've had sashimi at a different place once before but it was awful ( still finished it since my friend was paying) i for some reason decide to try it again at this place and it was impeccable, now i cant stop getting it. the quality is amazing and the amount you get for what you spend is incredible, between that and the location this will be the only sushi place i go to from now on. sushi box is indubitably the best sushi place in town.“
“This is my favorite Poke spot in the area! The poke is great quality and they are always generous with the amount of food they provide. ALSO I can’t forget to mention my favorite part is the FREE miso soup with each purchase! You gotta check this spot out!“
“I'm 30 weeks pregnant and the two rolls on the outside are both cooked and they were amazing!! The frisco roll was out of this world. The Crab Rangoon was phenomenal, made to order (some places don't do that) in other words was super hot and fresh when brought to the table, that sauce it came with was soooo good I ended up dipping my sushi in that sauce. Service was average, no complaints. My friend and I left very satisfied and full! Will be going back“
“Always been a favorite. This time the Mardi Gras roll had very little crawfish and caviar on the top and it was not warm. The crawfish topping use to be warm and lots of caviar - it's my favorite roll and I would like to see it return to its former glory.“
“My mom and I came to sushi Damu for our weekly mommy monday today, everything was great! the Ahi tower was definitely a standout. salmon sushi was sooo fatty and great too. we did the AYCE: such a great deal! our server was busy but attentive and friendly. would definitely recommend for a small group dinner “
“You’ll be surprised by the low prices of the menu items. So surprised that you’ll order a lot of food. Then something that was an inexpensive post workout meal turns into the amount of a mini grocery bill. The food was good but I can’t say it’s something that’s worth writing about. One negative was the Miso soup it was WAY too salty. One positive was that the Seaweed Salad was fresh and had no slime pooling at the bottom. As far as sushi goes it was average. Nothing special here just another sushi restaurant, no experience, no amazing anything. It’s really new and clean good for dates and lunches.“
“It’s a good place that’s kind of tucked away next to the freeway. Restaurant is clean and spacious. They have a lot of fun and creative rolls / maki so would suggest ordering some of that. Really good place for the kids during the day if they’re into easy to eat sushi. ?Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly for daytime lunch“
“What can we say, it's a sports bar aimed towards men. Its main competition is tightends across 121. Went around 1 pm after lunch hour so it was calmer not sure what lunch rush hour is like. Our waitress was attentive which was good. The fried pickles and stuffed jalapenos for appetizers were delicious. I had the bacon burger (pictured) which was good with an (Half Life IPA) but have had a better burger. A coworker ordered the country fried chicken and he enjoyed it very much (pictured). Overall experience was good and would give it another opportunity.“
“Really good Japanese spot in Frisco/Little Elm area. It’s pricy but worth it at least once. The Chilean sea bass was probably the best Chilean sea bass I’ve had at a restaurant. Really good sushi, too (handroll and nigiri). The espresso martini was amazing. All the food we had was great (we ordered a lot).Shoutout to the green tea mochi ice cream and chocolate cake. Loved both of those desserts!“
