“Hashi Japanese Kitchen is the best Japanese restaurant we have found in the north Texas area. Their home made sauces are very good, much better than any packaged sauces. The owner is very nice and helpful, I wish the best for their success.“

“Great food and service. Can’t say I’ve ever had anything bad here“

“I went in on a sunday afternoon, it was quiet, so I hesitated, but turns out it was the best decision! Fast and friendly service and great tasting food!! I would definitely be coming back! 😋🍣😃 I got the spicy edemame, gyoza, and dragon roll! Feeling stuffed but very happily satisfied!“

“I had a great experience here with my friends. We each ordered the 5 hand roll combo, salmon sashimi in truffle ponzu, and extra nigiris such as uni premium, ama ebi, salmon toro, and 2 bottles of hot sake. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thank you and we'll come back again.“

“People are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. It is the best Sushi I have had in the Dallas Area. I will be back often.“

“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! Support local!“

“Really good taste nice food presentation“

“Food was outstanding!! The waitresses were nice! The variety was amazing! Highly recommend!“

“best sushi all you can eat in dfw !“

“Top favorites were the mentaiko creamy udon and the yakitori. HM was the grilled salmon kama. They give lots of seafood and toppings for the udon, and the udon was the perfect texture and chewiness. Yakitoris were tender and juicy. Got the negima and momo yakitoris. Earl grey highball was slightly too sweet, but could probably request for less sweet next time.

…only downside was the AC blowing on us and the food making the food cool down too fast while eating. felt rushed eating because the food was getting cold. wouldn’t recommend sitting in the back table near the restrooms…

Overall, would go back again.“

“Great food and generous portions. We will be going again.“

“It was an amazing experience! I will be judging every sushi I eat from now on using this as a template. Germy(not sure if I’m spelling correctly) took great care of my wife and I. I hope we are able to return to Dallas so that we can enjoy it again.“

“very good food made here.“

“Charming neighborhood Asian restaurant, with Japanese, Singaporean and fusion options. Upbeat and helpful servers. Food is fresh and delicious and visual appeal of the presentations is excellent. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the service was too quick! I don't like it when a course arrives before we have completed the last one, and we are asked to finish up so the next plates can be put on the table. If management corrects this, theyt will be worth a 5 star rating!“

“Always a good experience here. The fish is always fresh, rice is cooked perfectly, and sodas are ice cold. They are generous with their portions and prices are very reasonable. Everyone working here is accommodating. Highly recommended their 3 for $14.99 deal as well as the salmon and super white tuna nigiri - so buttery and fresh. Try them out! 🍣“

“this is mine and my husbands favorite sushi place! no sushi place in the area compares to sushi sho. every-time we try somewhere new we’re always disappointed because nothing can top their fresh sushi. they have the best miso soup, Philadelphia rolls, and salmon sashimi. every thing in the menu is very reasonably priced. we order here 1-2xs weekly it’s all i crave.“

“The food is amazing. We love the bento boxes and prices are great!!! We always have fantastic service.“

“amazing sushi and miso soup!“

“Great food and great service! Peter was awesome!“

“Hands down the absolute best Poke place in all of Frisco! We have tried other places and none them come close to the freshness and taste of PurePoke. We love that we can customize the bowls to fit our unique tastes and they’re always so friendly. They great taste in music too!“

“Overall: 4.7/5 [dine in]

Our sushi chef was Jayden and he was so nice. He checked in with us throughout the meal to make sure everything tasted good, offered to cut our hand rolls in half so we could share, and even gave us a salmon belly on the house.

Black Cod Nigiri ($6): Best bite of the night and it was on the seasonal menu. It was cooked and I'm not sure what they did to it, but it was absolutely phenomenal.

Salmon Truffle Ponzu ($18): My second favorite dish of the night. The salmon was super fresh and the truffle ponzu elevated the whole thing.

Scallop Foie Gras ($24): Beautiful presentation and good but surprisingly not as flavorful as the salmon truffle ponzu. I was expecting more umami from the foie gras.

Salmon Belly Toro Nigiri ($16): Salmon belly with fatty toro topped with ikura. Delicious and melts in your mouth.

Toro Wagyu Uni Nigiri ($22): Fatty tuna, A5 wagyu beef, and uni nigiri. My husband thought it was fun to eat, but said he would not order it again.

Nodoguro Nigiri ($13): I looked this up, and it's apparently a rare high end deep sea fish from Japan known as the toro of white fish. Based purely on taste though, I thought it was okay and did not compare to the salmon belly.

Kanpachi Cherry Blossom ($6.50): A pretty rosy pink color with a subtle cherry blossom flavor. Okay in terms of taste compared to the other fishes we had.

Ami Ebi Nigiri ($10): The sweet shrimp was a bit too raw for me.

Crab Uni Butter Nigiri ($12): I did not really taste the difference between the uni infused butter and regular butter so I am not sure it is worth the price, though it was still good.

Snow Crab Handroll ($7): So much better than imitation crab. Recommend out of all the handrolls we tried.

Eel Handroll ($7.50): Not my favorite but my husband said it was one of the best eel he has ever had.

Lobster Handroll ($12): Good but nothing special.

Volcano Roll ($28): This took the longest to make and was the last item we received even though we saw them start preparing it at the beginning of the meal. The presentation was beautiful and Jayden even sprayed gold on it for our photo and video. It comes with snow crab, avocado, lobster, and bay scallop topped with eel sauce and was really yummy with lots of seafood. The only downside was that the roll underneath broke apart easily which made it hard to eat.

Fresh Wasabi Root ($10): We watched them grind the wasabi fresh which was cool to see. It doesn't have a kick to it though so I wouldn't order it again since I like a tiny bit of spiciness.

Matcha Mojito ($15): Not for me. It had a bit too much club soda.

Yuzu Saketini ($15): I liked this one more than the matcha mojito. The yuzu flavor was prominent and it kind of reminded me of a Lemon Drop.“

“I had such a experience at Kanzi! The food was fresh, delicious, and full of flavor. Everything we ordered came out looking amazing and tasted even better. The service was also great! Everyone was friendly, attentive, made us feel welcomed. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and was very clean. I definitely recommend this place if you are craving good sushi or hibachi. I will definitely come back!“

“First time there and loved it all.“

“The variety of food on the all-you-can-eat menu is great, and our waiter Nathan was incredible. He was on top of everything, and when my daughter said she loved the robot (the machine that brings food to your table) he brought it back out just for her. Definitely a new go-to for us.“

“everyone here is so amazing and friendly!!! could not recommend enough!“

“As Always the place is amazing I have NEVER been disappointed I love going there!!!! the alcohol is mines they are BYOB….“

“A long-time regular, and for good reason! This is hands down the best sushi restaurant in town and perfect for any occasion. The staff is incredibly welcoming and professional, the service is flawless, and the food is consistently top notch. Every dollar spent here is completely worth it!“

“EXCELLENT SUSHI!! Drove 26 minutes to get to this location, due to the google reviews. Not sure what to expect. Made a take out order. They took it and were friendly and helpful.

Was pleasantly AMAZED at the sushi appearance when the containers were opened!! Very attractive looking sushi and TASTED GREAT!!
Would highly recommend their sushi and would DEFINITELY buy again!!“

“First time here. Ordered takeout due to pandemic. Came on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. Ordered 4 rolls: rainbow roll, dragon roll, Greenville roll, & spicy tuna kiss roll. Presentation is nice. Fish quality is smooth, creamy, and does not have a frozen multiple times texture. Flavor is nice. Roll pieces are actually bite sized and -just- fit in your mouth. (I have a small mouth, so they may fit better in an average person’s mouth). Kind of disappointed with the minuscule amount of wasabi & ginger that came with each dish, but wasabi taste fresh & has adequate spice. Pickled ginger is quite sweet. Overall, everything was good. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

“Great sushi and sake indeed!“

“Fresh, delicious sushi with amazing presentation and flavors, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!“

“Lots of options to choose from including hot, cold, raw, cooked. My favorite was the tuna tataki & cowboy roll. Fried Oreo to finish with ice cream 🍨 whoa! Kimchi wasn’t for me.“

“Hubby and I went to their Valentines Brunch Saturday and Calin was our waiter. His first question to us was did we have any allergies. We was honestly blown away because NO OTHER waiter asked us that question ANYWHERE! Yes I do have food allergies and I told him so. From beginning to the end of our visit he was PHENOMENAL!! We told his Manager so. There is so much negativity going on, we were very pleased to give some positivity! ?“

“This was the perfect place for a girls' lunch date! the sushi was so good and for such a reasonable price! I got the crunch roll and the shrimp lovers not knowing that the crunch roll was a giant serving!! Definitely recommend if you need a reasonably priced nice lil sushi treat ☺️“

“This place is perfect for people on OptaVia! They got out a food scale to measure out my food perfectly! Excellent customer service!“

“Zack was great I didn’t know what to order to drink and he made one for me and it was delicious! The severs was helpful and the food was great!“

“As soon as you step in to the place, you feel the quality and positive energy. Staff is very welcoming. Items are delicious. EK is very professional and friendly.“
