Their selection of salads, tempura, grilled, and baked food is extensive and impressive as well, literally so much selection that anyone would be happy with the available offerings.Price: Has nearly doubled since I first started eating here over 20 years ago, when it was Tokyo One. That is in line with inflation in the overall economy, so while I don't love it, it's still one of the best sushi/Japanese cuisine deals in town at $26 (plus tip and tax) for lunch (significantly more for dinner), south of $35 total for a dream AYCE lunch with a generous tip.Atmosphere: Unchanged in the decades I've been dining here, basically Japanese lodge traditional in the main seating areas. Service was attentive and the ambience was, as expected, minimalist. It could be made better if the menus were easier to read. I found the font size for the descriptions to be too small. Also, the acoustics in the restaurant made for a loud experience. It can get very loud with just a few tables being served. I would definitely go there again.“

The rice was a nice portion and was served in a bowl on the side. The Cali roll was big and made with all fresh ingredients. My daughter ordered the shrimp tempura roll; it comes with 8 pieces and is a very large roll with fresh and real ingredients.The ambiance is low lighting, tables and chairs as well as low tables with cushions for floor seating for dining in. “Sunday evening and everything was absolutely perfect. My husband and I live in the area and decided to come in for our anniversary. Quickly greeted and seated at the bar and brought water/menus. Started with a crudo sampler which was a great way for a couple to try a few of their raw offerings. My favorite was the tuna topped with the crab. I ordered a 3-roll regular combo and my husband opted for the 5-roll premium option. Every single thing was delicious and fresh. Even the options with sauces were very nicely balanced and not overdone. My favorite was the salmon option with the mango. My husband loved the yellowtail topped with a jalapeño. Chef gifted us a couple of pieces of salmon belly sushi which was my favorite bite of the night! It was lightly smoked and came with a dab of a wonderful sauce. Tiramisu mascarpone for dessert had a cheesecake texture which I really enjoyed. Will be back and so happy to have them in our neighborhood.“

Definitely worth the price. If it's jus sushi, you will get it hardly 5 minutes. If it's cooked, it will take less than 10 minutes.My favorites are Tiger, Hungry, Midway, and Rainbow if I am wanting salmon.Try these meals with Chick-fil-A sauce and it will have you come back for more.Compared to other pricy Sushi restaurants, this one is worth it.“

The rolls are sometimes too big to fit in her mouth. These were not. I had the Deep Veggie Roll and the Rangers Roll. I also had a side of plain sushi rice (one of my favorites). The deep fried veggie roll was great. Many many choices of rolls to choose from. Only negatives were the initial wait to be served and orders taken (20 min) and very few non sushi choices (non really negative considering it is a sushi place. Go somewhere else if you want something other than sushi!) Staff was very attentive once our order was finally taken. Will go again to try more in the future.“
