“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! Support local!“

“Top favorites were the mentaiko creamy udon and the yakitori. HM was the grilled salmon kama. They give lots of seafood and toppings for the udon, and the udon was the perfect texture and chewiness. Yakitoris were tender and juicy. Got the negima and momo yakitoris. Earl grey highball was slightly too sweet, but could probably request for less sweet next time.

…only downside was the AC blowing on us and the food making the food cool down too fast while eating. felt rushed eating because the food was getting cold. wouldn’t recommend sitting in the back table near the restrooms…

“We visited this all-you-can-eat sushi buffet for my son’s birthday, and it was the perfect choice. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious, with a great variety of rolls, nigiri, and hot dishes—everything was well-seasoned and beautifully prepared. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive; plates were cleared quickly, refills came right away. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and comfortable, so we could relax and enjoy the celebration. Excellent value for the quality and service—we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended for family outings and special occasions! 🍣🎉“

“This was the best poke bowl I’ve ever gotten! The owner is so sweet and patient. The bowl I got was around $17 but they fully load it up with such fresh ingredients, making it so worth it! Definitely an underrated spot in Carrollton.“

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“
