The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! I ordered the salmon ahi tower and a dragon roll and was shocked at the size of the portions - definitely a pleasant surprise! “This is a regular for me during lunch since I work nearby. I always get the same thing, takeout for an Alaskan Lunch Combo, comes out to $16 total with taxes.

The roll in this combo are pretty good size and they give a couple fried items, a single veggie roll and a single gyoza dumping. Comes with a little side salad and another half a California roll. This lunch fills me up every time and good quality sushi.“

“Very calm and quiet . I built my own bowl with ahi tuna , spicy tuna and snapper . Both the ahi tuna and spicy tuna were superb , very fresh . Snapper was okay want not a fan of it . The rice was good , one of the best one that i tried in texas . I added the habanero sauce , it said “spicy” in the menu but i thought ..it’s texas it cant be that spicy . Well it’s SPICY…pleasantly surprised. It was nice heat not overwhelming and I enjoyed jt . If you are not into spice dont order it .

“Truly and all you can eat for $30/person. I felt like everything I ordered except for Sashimi or The 2pc, had crab in it. Not that I dislike it, but the menu while it seemed large, also felt small at the same time. Three different rolls and somehow all ended up with immense amounts of crab within. The Goyza was delicious. If you want a cheap all you can eat sushi place, this is for you.“

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“

Food:
I’m fairly new to the area and I was in search of a good sushi place and Nori Sushi did not disappoint. The selection and prices are amazing. Today I ordered a chicken katsu bento box and the vegetable fried rice in order to try a variety of food. The katsu was amazing and so were the California rolls. I did also enjoy the cabbage slaw and salad but personally I’m not a fan of too much dressing or slaw but they were still enjoyable.
Customer Service:
When I walked in I was initially greeted and able to sit wherever I wanted. I also receive excellent service throughout the duration of my meal.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere visually is good and the place has a nice vibe. They chose very nice decor and made great use of the space here. I greatly appreciate that. Also from what I’ve noticed the place seems to be a “mom and pop” kind of place and I also appreciate this too as I like to spend my money with the local businesses rather than large corporations.

“The variety of food on the all-you-can-eat menu is great, and our waiter Nathan was incredible. He was on top of everything, and when my daughter said she loved the robot (the machine that brings food to your table) he brought it back out just for her. Definitely a new go-to for us.“

“Great food, one star deducted for the service. They are typically busy on Friday night. They would remove the dish immediately once you finished the meal. It was understandable for them to do this at a busy night. But as customers, we felt uncomfortable when they would urge people to check and leave asap

They did inform us we were not going to be seated together but it being last minute we were okay with it. They sat us in booths next to each other. Two different waitresses. Our waitress right away told us we could not be moving around from table to table. She was not able to handle such a big table. Very unprofessional disregarding we were paying customers. Not sure if we would visit again with that kind of treatment. FYI, we still tipped more than what was expected.“

“The sushi is about half the price of most sushi places. You’ll be happy you found it. You order at the cashier and pay in advance they will bring your food to the table . They don’t have a traditional waiter . You get your own drink at a self service set up. They don’t expect a tip and That’s really refreshing.
