“This charming little sushi restaurant has become a favorite of mine. I’ve been here twice now, and I’m definitely planning to return. The sushi was delicious, and the chicken ramen was particularly impressive. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the restaurant was spotless. They also have a complementary dessert for those with sweet tooths. The owner was friendly and attentive, and the service was quick and efficient. “As a vegan, Musume has a number of natively vegan options, and other dishes that can be made vegan with slight modifications. The restaurant has a nice, upscale atmosphere without feeling stuffy. Our server, Andy was the star of the show, however. He was super-friendly and very knowledgeable about which menu items we could order as vegans. If you should happen to make a stop at Musume, make sure to ask for Andy.“

“Our family of four stopped in for dinner last night to try out our new neighborhood spot and it was so good! The inside is nicely decorated and they have tables and floor tables for dining. The kids got a big kick out of sitting on floor pillows for dinner. The menu is extensive with Korean and Japanese items — including hibachi and sushi! Everything is reasonably priced and is meant to be a fast casual dine-in or takeout spot. So Carrollton folks — if you find yourself going to Sushi Kadan or another neighborhood joint — try this one out too! We have another spot for a tasty and healthy dinner. Kid friendly too! “Tonight I was craving sushi and decided to try Sushi Box after a friend recommended it and I’m so glad I did.

It’s a small, cozy spot with maybe 8–9 tables, and I actually loved that the kitchen is right there so you can see them making everything fresh. I asked if they had other locations and they do, but somehow I had never noticed them before.

We ordered spicy edamame , sashimi & couple of rolls and wow… everything was delicious. You can truly taste the freshness. I was so impressed I literally told my boyfriend this is going to be one of my go-to sushi spots from now on.

It’s very family-friendly, simple menu (sodas and water), super clean, and the staff was really nice and attentive. Nothing fancy just really good, fresh sushi done right.

“Wow! The bowls were great. Everything was fresh and a good amount of food. They have plenty of choices for your bowls and just as many choices in sushi rolls. They are very reasonably priced. If you go during their happy hour 2-5 then you can get some killer inexpensive rolls. We tried their Salmon Skin roll. It was really good. We will definitely be back. If you like sushi and want to try something a little different go and give them a shot.“

Even though we visited on a busy Friday night, our server Zico was fantastic—attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The staff was warm and accommodating, making us feel welcome. “Great hidden gem. They have bowl with different proteins. It’s like a chipotle but Japanese flavor. Their menu is healthy with different selections of meat and veggies. They also have sushi of course and appetizers.

We ordered bowl with beef and shrimp and an avocado bomb.

“Partner and I stopped in for bento boxes for lunch and generally had a pleasant time!

First off, the atmosphere was very cozy on a cold day, with low lighting and a few trees inside decorated for Christmas. We were served promptly and each got a bento, both around $13-14.

Let me tell you, for that price, we got a LOT of food. We easily could’ve shared. Each came with salad, two gyoza, 4 California rolls, 3 pieces of tempura, some tater tots, and the main course that you chose. Ours came with a LOT of rice and cabbage under our meat. So value for money is no question great here.

I’d say everything in the bento was okay. The tonkotsu was almost burnt and the crust had no flavor, but it was alright. The salad dressing was very lemony, but everything was mostly bland or uninteresting. Definitely filling though!

Overall, I think we would return. I just wouldn’t expect the best food you’ve ever had!“

Food:
I’m fairly new to the area and I was in search of a good sushi place and Nori Sushi did not disappoint. The selection and prices are amazing. Today I ordered a chicken katsu bento box and the vegetable fried rice in order to try a variety of food. The katsu was amazing and so were the California rolls. I did also enjoy the cabbage slaw and salad but personally I’m not a fan of too much dressing or slaw but they were still enjoyable.
Customer Service:
When I walked in I was initially greeted and able to sit wherever I wanted. I also receive excellent service throughout the duration of my meal.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere visually is good and the place has a nice vibe. They chose very nice decor and made great use of the space here. I greatly appreciate that. Also from what I’ve noticed the place seems to be a “mom and pop” kind of place and I also appreciate this too as I like to spend my money with the local businesses rather than large corporations.

“The variety of food on the all-you-can-eat menu is great, and our waiter Nathan was incredible. He was on top of everything, and when my daughter said she loved the robot (the machine that brings food to your table) he brought it back out just for her. Definitely a new go-to for us.“
