“🍳 Sunday Brunch Review – J. Macklin’s (Coppell, TX) 🍳 My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch at J. Macklin’s and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, perfect for a weekend meal. We did have an extended wait (they were out of biscuits 😅), but I have to give major credit to the management and wait staff. They handled it extremely well and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Truly phenomenal service, they turned the situation around and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Bacon Board, which has a fun concept but could use a little more creativity. Just maple syrup on bacon didn’t quite hit the mark, but with a little flair this could easily be their signature appetizer. Now the entrées were exceptional. ✔️ My wife’s Southern Benny was flavorful and perfectly executed. ✔️ I had the grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup and fries and let me just say, those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Bottom line: 🔹 Great vibe, 🔹 excellent main dishes, 🔹 and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“I’ve been to Sayfani a few times now, and I have nothing but good things to say!!

The matcha, which I’ve ordered three times, is excellent. I’m experienced and knowledgeable about matcha production/preparation and have tried hundreds of varieties, and I believe Sayfani to be the best matcha I’ve been able to acquire at a local shop.

The customer service is amazing, and management is extraordinarily invested in their employees. As a barista of almost 7 years, that makes a world of difference in how good I feel about patronizing a coffee shop. I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with staff and Fahad, the manager. The ambiance is relaxing and peaceful, and as a student, I love that they’re open until 10 PM!

“The place is inside a gas station. However, their tacos are absolutely delicious. It is a little on the expensive side but once in a while it is worth to stop by. They get quite a bit busy. Though they try to be on top of their orders so the customer doesn't wait so long, still plan ahead to spare extra time if you're able to, just in case.”

I usually do not like to write bad reviews and the intent if this one is not to be negative.Today however I had a unique experience .After ordering for delivery , after 79 minutes of waiting I get a message that my order has been cancelled and to contact the store.Upon doing so I have been told that my order was given to the Doordash driver and I should contact Doordash to see what is going on. Well that portion drove me nuts to be honest. I completely understand that delivery can be missed, it happened before and though uncomfortable because I was hungry, I actually never got mad.Today however a line was crossed. As a customer, when I pay 20 $ overall for a small salad, I am expecting Salada to track their own drivers.I did not order from Doordash. I ordered from Salata. Please understand that if I ordered delivery it probably means that I , as a customer don’t have time to track drivers who do not feel like working. Thank you very much for your understanding and let’s reset our asymmetric relationship! O btw this is not about $20 and not about low glycemy, this is about a working ethics concept.Thank you , Sorin”

“Update: Pad Cashew with Chicken is my new favorite dish. Cannot get over the taste and portion sizes are just amazing and same with the taste.

I’ve been ordering the exact same dish for a year now, and it’s officially my all-time favorite here.
The Spicy Basil Leaves (Thai Hot) is the masterpiece, especially with that extra side of chili oil and an extra jasmine rice to soak up every bit of heat. The consistency is incredible; the flavors are today as they were on day one. I have no doubt the rest of the menu is just as addictive.
I’m finally planning to branch out next time and try the Cashew Chicken. Stay tuned for the update!”
