“🍳 Sunday Brunch Review – J. Macklin’s (Coppell, TX) 🍳 My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch at J. Macklin’s and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, perfect for a weekend meal. We did have an extended wait (they were out of biscuits 😅), but I have to give major credit to the management and wait staff. They handled it extremely well and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Truly phenomenal service, they turned the situation around and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Bacon Board, which has a fun concept but could use a little more creativity. Just maple syrup on bacon didn’t quite hit the mark, but with a little flair this could easily be their signature appetizer. Now the entrées were exceptional. ✔️ My wife’s Southern Benny was flavorful and perfectly executed. ✔️ I had the grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup and fries and let me just say, those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Bottom line: 🔹 Great vibe, 🔹 excellent main dishes, 🔹 and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Loved this family owned Jordanian restaurant! Daniya and Mr. Mohammed, sweetly greeted us, explained the way to order, and even gave us samples, since it was our first time here. We ordered a falafel sandwich and had a plate of falafel that came with their delicious and super thin pita bread and tahini sauce. The in-house, fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside falafel Mr. Mohammed makes, are the best falafel we have had in the DFW area. We have tried MANY places, this is hands down our new go to place for a falafel sandwich craving!”

“I’m a matcha lover and I was searching for a really good matcha today and this place popped up with good reviews. I went in and the coffee shop was really nice and clean, relaxing atmosphere. Perfect place to grab a drink and work. Plenty of space inside and outside. I was greeted by KAI, great customer service!!!! He was funny and provided greater recommendations. I settled on the one of the Matcha Signature drinks “Golden Matcha” which had honey, Carmel, cinnamon all can say is this drink was DELICIOUS!!!!!!! I would definitely order again!!!”

I received such awesome customer service from the moment I approached the drive through all the way until I was handed my coffee! “Twisted Root is a solid burger joint, with a great casual vibe, which makes it an easy go-to. We stopped in on Friday and enjoyed our meal as usual.

What really stood out was afterward. I accidentally left my purse behind, and the management team went above and beyond to try to track me down and let me know they had it. When I came back to pick it up, everything was still there.

“I love the drinks I get here. My family gets brown sugar boba (sometimes with traditional boba, sometimes with coffee jelly) and I get the Ube milk tea or the Thai milk tea. They’re always delicious, with friendly service.

The owner is always patient with my questions when I want to try something new. The rose tea, matcha and the coconut milk tea are also in my rotation.

The claw machine is fun too, not expensive and quite easy to win a prize.”

Michelle helped us think through the perfect cookie options for our birthday cookie-decorating party and was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. She truly goes above and beyond to make sure everything turns out just right. The cookies were delicious, and beautifully made.”

“Updated review: I am giving 4 stars so I don’t “affect the business”. The reason for the loss of a star was the way the second call was handled: cutting me off and telling me my review was the reason the business was being affected.

I went into the store to receive a cash refund for the remaining amount I was still owed, and they offered a complimentary drink, which I appreciate. The Horchata boba is delicious! The employee that was there at the time was great!

I just wish this had been handled a bit better. I shouldn't have had to deal with attitude, calls being hung up on, and the overall issue with their system not being able to issue a full refund—which is the real thing affecting the business.

1st review: DO NOT GO HERE! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU BEFORE CHECKING TO MAKE SURE THEY CAN PROVIDE YOUR ORDER, AND THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR TIP AMOUNT. THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND HAVE HUNG UP ON ME MULTIPLE TIMES.”

“Firehouse Subs in Coppell, TX is AWESOME! The Staff is GREAT and food is always consistently wonderful! The app can use some work. We had issues redeeming an offer through the app, but the Manager was able to make it work. My only suggestion is for Firehouse Subs Corporate to empower their Stores to be able to offer the same offers/sales in Store as on the app, in the case the app acts buggy like mine was doing.”

Though they try to be on top of their orders so the customer doesn't wait so long, still plan ahead to spare extra time if you're able to, just in case.”

I usually do not like to write bad reviews and the intent if this one is not to be negative.Today however I had a unique experience .After ordering for delivery , after 79 minutes of waiting I get a message that my order has been cancelled and to contact the store.Upon doing so I have been told that my order was given to the Doordash driver and I should contact Doordash to see what is going on. Well that portion drove me nuts to be honest. I completely understand that delivery can be missed, it happened before and though uncomfortable because I was hungry, I actually never got mad.Today however a line was crossed. As a customer, when I pay 20 $ overall for a small salad, I am expecting Salada to track their own drivers.I did not order from Doordash. I ordered from Salata. Please understand that if I ordered delivery it probably means that I , as a customer don’t have time to track drivers who do not feel like working. Thank you very much for your understanding and let’s reset our asymmetric relationship!
