“I dined at the Mi Cocina on MacArthur, and the customer service was top tier!!!!!! I wore a complicated outfit and the nice female manager assisted me in the bathroom with my clothes and engaged me in conversation, and she ensured that my dining experience was amazing!!!!! “The food is worthy of 5 stars, but the service on our last two visits was terrible. They have an extensive menu with all of the better known Thai favorites and some interesting (and tasty) variations. The Pot Stickers are great. So is the Tom Yum Thailicious - their spin on classic Tom Yum. The Pineapple Fried Rice is addictive. Highly recommend the Pad Thai. The Hostess was as friendly and engaged as she could be, but on the visit before last our waiter spent most of his time sitting at a table looking at his phone, and when he occasionally thought to actually check on us he was surly to the point of being almost non-conversational (rude?). On our last visit it was the same story. We actually asked the hostess if she could please seat us in a section of the restaurant that we thought was not his. She gladly obliged, but it turned out that we miscalculated and wound up with him as our waiter again. This time he spent less time checking his phone, but his attitude and level of engagement was no better. We love their food, so maybe we order food for pick up in the future. We saw a steady steam of customers picking up orders, so maybe that's the way to go. That way we're not expected to tip a rude and inattentive waiter.“

Things have changed here and that’s a real win for Grapevine. This location has recently returned to onsite cooking, not just onsite prep. The difference in taste and freshness is amazing and long overdue to return the menu and experience to its former glory.

Big shout out on service too. Chris behind the bar is awesome and makes the experience all that more enjoyable.“

“Tonight we decided to stop in and celebrate my new position with our beloved company as we have both worked there for decades! We elected to sit at a booth and I was very happy they sat us at a half moon booth with tons of room. Our food server, Sarah, was amazing from the start. Filled with enthusiasm and knowledge. She didn’t miss a beat and quickly picked up on what we liked. The perfect amount of attention and care. The manager was pretty entertaining himself. I’m not a big seafood diner so I had the awesome filet!! She was right! Fabulous it was! We will be returning soon! Thanks for a memorable dinner!!“

We are huge fans of the red velvet and chocolate chocolate chip which pair beautifully with their cream cheese frosting and are always so moist and wonderful. However, the customer service is what really sets this location apart. I was greeted warmly by smiling faces who were eager to help and watched several customers get in and out super quick while I was there. I had a special request and the owners were happy to try to make it happen and the results were better than I could have hoped.
