The food quality has improved, and the restaurant continues to serve authentic Nepali dishes like Newari khaja set, bara, yomari, chatamari, and fresh momo. “We ordered catering from Swagath Biryani for my dad’s 85th birthday celebration (300 guests), and it was an excellent experience overall. The Chicken Tikka Biryani was outstanding, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and clearly freshly made. The portion sizes were far more generous than expected, which was a pleasant surprise.

Viya was wonderful to work with while placing the order very professional, attentive, and took the time to call and confirm everything. What really stood out was that the owner personally reached out to thank me for the order and followed up to ensure all the items were correct, which showed genuine care and customer service.

Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, especially the dessert. The double ka meetha was absolutely incredible and a huge hit with everyone.

While the order arrived about 20 minutes late, it was well worth the wait it came hot, fresh, and delicious, making the delay insignificant in the grand scheme.

The combo meal with fish curry, beef dry fry, moru curry, pickle, achar, and payasam was spot on. The mackerel fry and anchovy fry were crispy, flavorful, and tasted just like back home. The pulisseri tied everything together beautifully with its homely, soulful touch — every bite felt nostalgic.

The snacks — medhu vada, ullivada, sukhiyan, and neyyappam — were pure comfort food. Perfectly done, crispy outside and soft inside, with authentic flavors in every bite.

What truly stood out was the warmth of the place. Chef Sanu clearly cooks with heart, and the staff were humble, attentive, and genuinely welcoming — the kind of hospitality that makes you want to return.

Weekday options are a bit limited but still delicious; weekends offer a wider variety. Seating is cozy and limited.

I saw it on a story a while ago and was so hyped to try it. It was superb! The combination of goat, herbs and spices in the broth as well as the beef momo went exceptionally well together.
