“First time today. Ordered Tikka Masala bowl for her and Tikka burrito for me. Also Paneer fries and a couple Naans. Everything tastes good, but Naan is dry. Spice level is about 3 and we are usually 1 or zero, so be aware. Can we request less spicy?“

“Food top notch: perfect take out. Don’t expect much on service or ambience- it’s a grocery store with extended take out. I recommend take your own Tupperware if you are not big fan of thermocol take out boxes. People at serving desk do a good job as long as it’s not chaotic with crowd.“

“Went to Madras Mojo for the first time. From the moment we walked in the service was excellent.We got were told about the menu options and given samples.

We tried the butter paneer, Chana masala, potato soy curry, rice, parotta and cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious, fresh and tasty. 😋

The place is clean and beautifully decorated. I do recommend it. I have to go back and try the mango lassi and gulab jamun.“

“Thalapakktu biriyani was too good. Even the goat meat inside it was perfect. Some restaurants just put rubbery meat but not here. I like this style of biriyani a lot and had to go all the way to Irving or Plano to get this but now its in Roanoke. Super happy. We tried Chicken fry biriyani too and it was good. Even the salna and yogurt mix was good. I really wish they keep up their standards like this. Idli can be better but it had good variety of chutneys to compensate.

Update: I tried Palak Paneer with Butter naan and it was great. They are keeping up with food quality. I told it is for kid and my kid loved too it without complaining about it being too spicy. She wanted more.“

“Good Authentic Tasty Panjabi Restaurant. Their Aloo, Panner Parottas are very good. There is an offer for 1 + 1 for parottas on Wednesday lunch. They could improve on the service and the atmosphere. Good portion size, nice place to hang out with friends or family“

“FOOD:
I got the Chicken Tikka Masla and it was super flavorful and creamy. I love super spicy food but I was having acid issues that day. I really appreciate how they have plus values for their spicy levels. Not every person or culture rank spice the same so it was nice seeing they had that. AND the spice level was perfect for me and my stomach with their system. My boyfriend has GERT so he loved it too. He ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and the meat was very tender and juicy which is hard to do with gamey meat. His stomach is sensitive and sometimes when he eats foods with additives or lots of seed oils he gets sick but he didn’t experience anything like that at all here. Their food and ingredients are top quality.

SERVICE:
I have lived and grown up in Dallas my whole life and Spice and Tonic will be added to the top of my lists for go-to. Service and food here is nothing short of amazing. There was a technical blip with online ordering but before and after this restaurant have shown such care and grace. Even when I was upset (the issue was not the restaurant’s fault at all). They really care about their business and it shows. Not only did the host seem super happy, the owner personally called to check up with me on my issue and got to the bottom of things and the food was great.

ATMOSPHERE: I did not have the chance to dine in but when I came to pick up my food, the restaurant looked super nice, chic and clean.

OVERALL:
I wanted to leave an in depth review to really show my appreciation for this business and those there who keep the show running. Immaculate food and service. I would not write such a review if I did not want to recc. to everyone and their mothers. We should support great people and great product (the food). It is rare to see such a package these days so let’s keep such places alive and thriving.“

“Nice indian food spot! The ambiance was pleasant, and the music was good. I found the food and spice levels to be pretty accurate so definitely don’t overdo it. We tried the samosa chaat, garlic naan, and kadai paneer. I found the chaat and kadai paneer to be heavy on the masala and I think it would have been better to tone that down. Other than that, the food came out quickly and our server checked on us pretty attentively throughout our evening !“

“Swagath Biryanis has been my favorite biryani spot since 2017! My best friend, who is Indian, introduced me to this restaurant, and I’ve been coming back ever since. I’ve tried biryani at other places over the years, but nothing compares.

My absolute favorite is the boneless chicken biryani. The masala is SO good — flavorful, perfectly seasoned, the right amount of spice, and never dry. Their chicken tikka masala is amazing too. Every single time I order, the food is consistently delicious.

What also keeps me coming back is the service. As a Black woman, I pay attention to how I’m treated when I go places, and in the nearly nine years I’ve been coming here, I have always been treated with kindness, respect, and great customer service. My orders come out quickly, the staff is always pleasant, and that level of service has never changed.

To have the same great food and the same great service year after year really says something about a restaurant. This will continue to be my go-to place for biryani. Highly recommend!“

“Best mandi in Dallas compared to the other mandi places I’ve tried! The food is delicious, flavorful, and the portion sizes are very generous definitely a good quantity for the price. Make sure to try the chicken fry piece and the juicy chicken; both are super tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Definitely worth trying!“

One thing is for sure, they will always be doing something fun and loud! 🤩 Great quick take away items and in-house dining. A small bar to cozy up to, if you wish. Beer is ice cold by the pitcher! I mean ice crystal cold. 🧊🍻We tasted vegetable samosa (2 pc $4.99) and onion pakora ($6.99)appetizers. The onion one was our favorite. Naan are $3.99. We tried Paneer Butter Masala, Malai Kofta, Punjabi Butter Chicken (This has bell pepper, so be sure to ask for it to not be added if you are not a fan), and Dhaba-Style Tikka Masala! When we go back, I think we will ALL get the Dhaba-Style Tikka Masala!! It was absolutely the best curry. So creamy and rich. It’s a must. This is an Indian and Chinese fusion so they have a diverse menu with items we have not heard of. Service was a little slow but they are very new and we were not in a hurry. The Dal Makhni and Onion Pakoda were tremendously tasty. More Over, the butter Naan Bread felt right at home.
The best part was, we came in 15 mins before the kitchen was closing. Ideally you would expect the food to be subpar during the last call of the day. But they did not leave anything behind when making it.“
