“Right away when walking in you are met with the intriguing aroma of a multitude of spices. The food was very flavorful and aromatic with just the right amount of heat. The server Rajni was nice and but not super attentive. I received my only drink refill after I finished my food and my wife never got one. My biggest issue was every single price on the receipt was higher than what was shown on the menu. The other issue was the drinking water was warm and straight from the sink.“
“I would definitely give 5 stars to Food. I haven’t tried to dine in yet so I don’t know about the service and atmosphere, but they made a small mistake on my order over the phone which I found out when I got home. Check your order before leave. And to management make sure to verify the orders.“
“I catered from them for my wedding weekend in Dallas and they delivered. The pulao first night to halwa puri Nihari for breakfast next day and then the rolls. All of it hit the spot and had my guest asking where it was from. I definitely recommend, everything was cooked to perfection.Vegetarian options: They gave us vegetarian rolls and the people loved it.“
“This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend it for a fantastic dining experience!. The attention to detail in every aspect of the dining experience truly sets this restaurant apart.“
“Gill, the owner/manager provides excellent quinine and service. There are none of those unpleasant additives like MSG, Glutamate, Phosphates, and other preservatives/fillers added to his food. My wife and I took a couple of to-go trays today from the lunch bar. Everything was hot (heat) and delicious. The Malsa Chicken, rice, saag, and garlic naan were perfect! And the price...very affordable for 2 people! About the same price that you might pay at say Chili's but WAY BETTER!Thanks Gill, glad we located you again after your move. We will be back and recommend you to our friends.Parking: 20-30 Parking spaces in front of the restaurant and more around the side of the building. Easily accessible from the south bound side of I75 Frontage Rd.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp and wheelchair accessible doorway...seems to be ADA compliant.“
“Unique and delicious dishes. Try the goat biryani. So flavorful, though not traditional biryani. Loved it! The butter chicken was good, the Saag chicken was so tasty, the lamb was cooked very well and the mixed grill appetizer is not to be missed. The garlic naan was wonderful. Service was kind and attentive. You made our special occasion even more memorable.Parking: Easy free parkingKid-friendliness: This is a nice restaurant, but the kids loved it as well.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant was very accommodating of two wheelchairs at our table. They made it so friendly and easy. Thank you.“
“The best biryani I have ever had. I ordered the boneless lamb biryani . The land was so tender I could cut it with my spoon, while still maintaining its structure. The seasoning was on point with fragrant spices. The naan was perfectly cooked and it seems like pillowy clouds with a slight amount of tug.The chicken seekh kebab was fresh and vibrant. It was tender and had the perfect amount of moisture. In summary, eat here and you will be incredibly pleased.“
“First ordered here through UberEats and was so blown away. Just ordered again tonight directly through their website. Had the exact same order because it was sooo fantastic and it’s great again! So happy to have found this place nearby. We’ll be back!“
“The service was pretty odd. We were served the chicken, and then it took a while for all the rice and Naan dishes to come out, and then the shrimp came. So we didn't know if the dish was just chicken or that the shrimp would cool because the chicken cooled down a bit.You know what they say about places with bad service, the food is good--and it was. The appetizer balls were very sweet, so I recommended saving that for dessert.I can't wait to come back and try some more dishes. Also, the spices were all over the air, so if you are sensitive, it will take some time to adjust. I coughed a lot when I got there, and my throat eventually settled down after the mango Lassi.Vegetarian options: Quite a bit of vegetarian options. Now Hindus eat a lot of paneers so there won't be a lot of vegan dishes, just vegetarian dishes.Parking: Plenty of free parking in front.“
“Delicious food and the lunch specials are reasonably priced. I usually go for the goat curry lunch special but recently tried the lamb since my friend was getting the goat. I was surprised how different the lamb sauce was from the goat but both were great.“
“The cuisine here is very good, tasteful, and very well seasoned!Miguel Labrada ( one of the cooks) makes the food irresistible not to try.Staff is friendly and helpful, also they’re very eager for you to try new things, they came around the table a couple of times to offer us to try new dishes and how to have the most optimal tasting experience!I will always come back for more!“
“Man is this food good!!! My new fav for Indian. Hot, fresh, and lots of choices on the buffet. And I couldn't believe how reasonable for all that yummy, yummy biryani, butter chicken (luv), curry, korma, and crispy pakora. Really love the ton of gluten free and vegetarian options! PRO TIP -ask for a basket of the fresh, buttery naan bread ? LoovvvveeeeeVegetarian options: My DD is gluten free and vegetarian. So hard to eat together. She can eat 80% of everything here!“
“The food was very tasty. I would say above average, in the 80 percentile range. Service was good and food brought to us fairly quickly. The ambiance was typical, we were there well after the lunch rush. So I didn't expect much to begin with. Overall experience was very good and I would recommend this restaurant. Happy eating!“
“The aloo paratha, chicken biryani, samosas, bhindi and roti was amazing. Despite long lines and busy atmosphere the staff was sweet and answered our questions about food so we could order correctly for us.Highly recommend! The place is clean but can use some modern renovation.“
“The food is the best Authentic Afghan food around especially the Lamb kabob and the Kabuli Palau. The reviews that are shown to be 1 star are by Pakistanis who don't understand the fragrant flavors of Afghan cooking and only want chili powder and curry powder in everything. Many items on Menu are Afghan but there's several Pakistani food items like Butter chicken which is really tasty and the bread is so freshOnly place that's serving True Sheer Yakh was amazing“
“We tried Indian food for the first time tonight at Shiva’s. It was absolutely delicious! Shiva’s service was wonderful and so was the food. We already can’t wait to go back! The Butter Masala with garlic naan bread was our favorite dish, but everything we tried was really really good. We absolutely recommend this restaurant 100%“
