Gill, the owner/manager provides excellent quinine and service. There are none of those unpleasant additives like MSG, Glutamate, Phosphates, and other preservatives/fillers added to his food. My wife and I took a couple of to-go trays today from the lunch bar. Everything was hot (heat) and delicious. The Malsa Chicken, rice, saag, and garlic naan were perfect! I Took my somewhat picky young adult daughter out for an authentic Indian meal, and she LOVED everything about this place! The service was EXCEPTIONAL. Gil and Ghita were so very helpful, and they explained the menu, so that she had a better idea of how to order for herself. Our server was so efficient and professional, as well. A wonderful Indian buffet. Food was delicious and fresh. Perfect spicing. Curries were yummy. Soup was amazing. Loved the desserts. As a New Yorker and having tasted many Indian dishes, I recommend this restaurant . The owner Gil was charming. Since Covid many NYC restaurants no longer offer buffets. This was a real treat. 4 Minute walk from the Sonesta hotel.
