“This is a staple for us. We love getting sushi to-go and also enjoy the fried rice as well as some of the appetizers. They are very friendly and although at times it can get a little busy, good sushi isn't made fast. So just order ahead of time! Really nice guy who runs the place and the chef in the back is excellent as well!“

“So glad we found the BOGO Omakase deal that they were having. My husband and I tried this place out and it was so good! We got the 15 course option, and loved everything served. The cocktails and mocktails were also on point. There is free parking nearby in the underground garage. This place is in the Dreys Hotel bar area. Would definitely come back and recommend!“

“Mizu Sushi is truly a hidden gem in Dallas! The restaurant is a cute, cozy spot with a great bar and an excellent drink selection. We especially loved the cocktails—they were delicious and perfectly crafted.
We ordered several hand rolls, including Snow Crab, Salmon, Bay Scallop, and Lobster, and every single one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy, and the beet-infused salmon roll topped with gold caviar was absolutely incredible—definitely one of our favorites!
We also enjoyed the Espresso Martini and the Passionfruit Mocktail, both of which were refreshing and paired perfectly with our meal.
A special thank you to Sona and the entire team for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. “First time here. Ordered takeout due to pandemic. Came on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. Ordered 4 rolls: rainbow roll, dragon roll, Greenville roll, & spicy tuna kiss roll. Presentation is nice. Fish quality is smooth, creamy, and does not have a frozen multiple times texture. Flavor is nice. Roll pieces are actually bite sized and -just- fit in your mouth. (I have a small mouth, so they may fit better in an average person’s mouth). Kind of disappointed with the minuscule amount of wasabi & ginger that came with each dish, but wasabi taste fresh & has adequate spice. Pickled ginger is quite sweet. Overall, everything was good. I’d recommend & I’d come back.“

“I’ve been here only a few times in the last few years but I came in last week and I was pleasantly surprised!

Stand out fish is the Smoked Ceviche. It is a must if you come here $35 is a little pricy but the amount of fish they gave you is 💯 worth it. Normally it’s just smoked salmon wherever you go but I loved the mixed fish option here.

Nigiri’s sushi are comparable to Haminohana and Hatsayuki but I do think the prices are a little higher. Black cod and Salmon Belly are chef’s kiss!

I didn’t try any sushi rolls, no comment there.

Hand rolls are also equivalent to the restaurants I mentioned above.

Ube ice cream is good. I believe it’s sourced locally.

So, if you’re in this area I would say give it a try. Prices are higher but there’s more seating which is nice.“

I've only tried their drinks since I don't eat sushi but what I've had so far has been great.
Black sesame latte, Annie's special (Pandan latte), peach Matcha latte, ube latte, and an Earl grey foam matcha latte.
Their coffee is nice and strong. I love all the foams they have and I wish they'd allow mixing and matching of the foams for coffee/matcha.
