50 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Frisco

“So many reasons to love this restaurant! Being a 100% vegetarian restaurant sits on the top of my list, also some very nice smiling people work here, and last but not the least, their elaborate weekend brunch menu! I am an early bird, and some times reach there even before 8:30 am to enjoy the food and chai when it’s quiet! I have been there many times and never got disappointed thus far! Thank you A2B for providing us such delicious food! ❤️“

“Having lived in Mumbai and visited Kailash Parbat in Coloba many times I was exited to visit them at Frisco. Interior was good and well balanced bringing in some nostalgic memories. Service was good and was expecting food to be amazing. The food was a bit disappointing both in flavor and taste. Pav Bhaji, the bhaji was sour, the chaats failed to meet the Mumbai standard. Chai too failed to impress.
I will give it another try one of these days and see if they have made any improvement to the food.“

“After darshan, love eating from temple canteen. Saturday lunch sorted!? We get puri-potato subzi, veg Uthappam, tamarind rice, sambhar rice, samosa everytime. We don’t like their medu vada(not warm) and curd rice(rice not cooked properly).“

These innovative tacos were born, in America but sourced from South America to Mexico with an American comfort food flair that boast a marriage of new exciting flavors with good ole' home cooked preparation. The beer battered cauliflower taco and the barbecue Angus are explosive to the olfactory system. Textures of crunch, creamy, crispy and chewy can be found in every chomp. The fresh herbs and spices culminate and aroma of the highest mountains of Spain while their barbecue is bursting with Texas spitfire. Cuban style Chimichurri, grilled steak, and barbacoa are just a few variations of beef protein. Not crazy about Nikki anything... you're on your own there. The cake is mediocre, but VT is my new guilty pleasure... 3 to 4 days a week.“

“We came here yesterday for breakfast because one of my friends told me about the great value and how good it was. I was apprehensive about going back because we have eaten here for lunch and dinner before and it’s been hit or miss. The very first time I came here the brisket was moist and almost as good as Hutchins in McKinney. I kept telling my wife and son how great the food was, but when we came, the brisket was on par with Spring Creek BBQ. Very dry.

I will say the service has always been great and the atmosphere is really nice. And I do love that during lunch and dinner they give you kettle chips to snack on while you wait for your food.

So back to breakfast…

I probably will not go back to Starwood Café after eating breakfast at Tenders. You spend about the same money if not less and get way more food (that tastes as good if not better). And to be able to have brisket for breakfast, that’s a win in my book any day of the week.

Thankfully, the brisket we had was incredibly moist and very flavorful. The eggs were perfectly cooked to the way we asked for them to be. The hashbrowns had a great texture and great flavor. My son and I did not care for the potatoes, but my wife liked them and they are good if that’s your thing. Tender’s sausage has always been great so that was enjoyable as usual. The pancake was flat out amazing. It’s a very large and thick pancake, but had crispy edges, soft interior, and the syrup and butter were very flavorful.

I think the one letdown for me was the biscuits and gravy. The gravy had great texture and flavor (although you could get a little bit more for how many biscuits you’re getting) but the problem was the biscuits were overcooked. A great biscuit has just a little bit of crunch on the outside and is tender and soft all the way throughout… but the biscuits that came with our biscuits and gravy were mostly crunchy and a little bit soft in the middle. I’m not sure if that’s the way that they cook them here or if those just happen to be overcooked. Either way we still are most of them, just didn’t eat the hardest parts of the biscuits.

We will definitely be back for breakfast again soon.“

“BEST KOLACHES EVER. they deserve a vacation too.

They reopen from vacation on 1/11. They are not permanently closed.

These kolaches are light and fluffy with stretchy dough. They are not the type of kolaches that are like a dinner roll brick.

We did show up to a sign on the door saying they were closed for about a week and had driven 45 minutes to get there from where we are staying (and we actually live 5 hours away too). I was kind of sad about that. However, not sad enough to leave a bad review because when we had them a couple of months ago, they reminded me of a bakery from my childhood. Just change the hours on google next time please lol.

We went to kolache factory after from desperation and that was a mistake. Should have just taken the L and changed breakfast plans because we added insult to injury. Dinner roll bricks.“

“Recently met with friends at the Babes Chicken Dinner House on Page Street in Frisco and had an expectedly nice meal. There are two indoor seating areas, can be quite busy so be patient when it comes to seating. No reservations, just first come, first serve. Opening hours are 11am to 2pm (lunch) and 5-pm (dinner) during the week and 11am to 9pm on weekends. Everything is very simple. Choose one of five chicken (or fried catfish) mains. They will be brought out along salad and unlimited cream biscuits, corn, green beans, mash potatoes. I ordered the chicken fried steak and found it to be pretty good. All sides were fine. They offer desserts as well if you've room left over after your chicken dinner .“

“This place is in a strip mall - plenty of seating. Walk in, immediately greeted by staff. Our drinks were kept full, asked right away if we knew what we wanted. We ended up ordering within 2-3 minutes of getting inside. I had the spicy pork ramen -- it was AMAZING. Super flavorful broth, generous portion, perfectly cooked noodles with tons of bean sprouts. YUM. I just went last night and might go again before heading back home!“

We have never been disappointed with the quality of the food (the Smoked Salmon Benedict is my personal favorite) or the friendliness of the staff on Friday mornings (Mary is awesome!) Biscuit is our “go to” place for breakfast or brunch!“

“Bf and I came here tonight for our weekly date night, and there’s not much remarkable to say about it.

Run of the mill chain Tex mex that tasted exactly as one would expect. My steak fajitas were $26, but you get a lot of food (including a HEAP of Spanish rice and lots of tortillas) for the price. It was all just alright, nothing bad but nothing to brag about.

A few minor gripes: one being that our waiter was decently attentive but I was never offered a refill other than a to go cup of my drink (which I took), and the other being that it was INCREDIBLY loud in there. Bf and I were sitting across from each other and eventually gave up on conversation because we had to yell to be heard.

Overall a decent place to have conventional Tex mex, but there is better around, as well.“
