“I live just a few minutes from this location and I love it! Their broth is the best... spring rolls are always fresh and on point. Service and staff are always top notch as well.I highly recommend this Pho location... and I have eaten pho all over the US. Pho Crystal is at the very top of my list!Update:Adding 1 more part to my review - specifically regarding the owners and staff. I read below the owner was not polite or nice to someone when they ate there. This can't be farther from the truth. The owners and staff have ALWAYS done a great job, very friendly and helpful. Sure, they may not be smiling perfectly when they're in the weeds and slammed, but all other times they do an EXCELLENT JOB of customer service.So, I'm just guessing the reviews below talking badly about the owner/staff customer service skills was maybe just on an off day... the other 30 days a month they are perfectly on point and FRIENDLY!! With no issues whatsoever.“

“Fantastic food and service. We had a great time celebrating a birthday. Could not have asked for friendlier staff, chef, atmosphere. Food was delicious and so fresh. Large portions and expertly prepared. The chef was funny and very entertaining. Highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: We had 5 children ranging from 5y to 11y. They had a lot of fun and enjoyed the food. Smiles all around.“

“Honestly it's a sad looking Mi Cocina when you walk in but the food and service is fantastic. I love this Tex-Mex chain and this one is in Watters Creek Village by the Allen Convention Center. The Rico Salad is nostalgic for me - I get it with salsa dresssing on the side. The chips are crispy and not salty. The queso con chile is liquid-y and gooey. There's a gorgeous patio for outdoor seating and the inside is large. Separate bar area. You know you're in Texas when the waitress asks if you want a Diet Coke to go. The service is truly spectacular. It was pretty quiet when I went on a Monday night and had to wait a second before a hostess came. Solid food - not the nicest Mi Cocina I've been to in terms of decor, but the food is the same quality as always!“

“My husband and I frequently eat here and love it! The quality is good, and we like that they offer the different combos. We usually get the combo for 2 and add on a bing fen. We have a heavy taste, especially my husband who is from Chengdu, so we always ask them to add extra spice to their spicy broth. We found that we have to ask for extra spice to get to a similar level to what we were used to having in Sichuan. Their century eggs are some of the best we've had in the area, so we get them every visit. We are slowly working our way through the other sides to find another go-to side. We personally were not a fan of the starch noodles. The takoyaki, while not terrible, didn't really go well with the flavors of the spicy broth. They also didn't have fish flakes the time we ordered. Those are the only two sides we won't order again, but we haven't tried them all yet. The service is usually good. One thing to keep in mind is that the restaurant is TINY. We normally go during off hours, but I imagine you may have to wait during peak times. The ambiance is laid-back.“

Their version with tomato and egg sets them apart, and I appreciate their consistent quality and perfect spice levels. The flavor balance is spot on. “Best Mofongo in DFW area! The Latin Pig serves up the best Mofongo in the DFW area. Do not sleep on this place. We moved to Texas from Miami and have been on the hunt for a good Mofongo and this place is it. We had the Lechón con Mofongo, Carne Frita con Mofongo, chicharrones with tostones and the kids lechón plates with Gandules. Everything was fresh and so good. The Mongo was just right, not dry, generously stuffed with meat (of your choice), the tostones were extra crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, the mojo garlic sauce and caldo were delicious. We left with happy hearts and bellies and will be back often…making the trek from Grapevine!“

“My wife and I were in town on some quick business. We were recommended to give it a try. We were not disappointed. Sunday brunch seems to be a very busy time, so we were very pleased to get a seat very quickly. Our server, I'm sorry her name slips my mind, was outstanding. As a guy who really enjoys food, I was very pleased. Everything was brought to our table in under 10 minutes and was absolutely delicious. I didn't see any of the staff that were not moving in a hurry to take care of their customers. I was pleasantly surprised by the pricing vs the quantity and quality of the food. Ballard Street Cafe will remain on our list of places to stop and eat when we're in town.“

“My husband and I just LOVE Rick's! The food is always amazing, the service is superb. The ambience is nice. My hubby got the NY Strip with baked potato. Said it was really good. I got the Filet. The filet was very tender and had good flavor. It was cooked a bit more then what I like, but delicious all the same. I got whipped potatoes and broccolini. Delicious!! Had the pleasure of having two Tx Pecan old fashions. The bartender is a genius. Absolutely delicious. Fun to mess with too.“

“We live in Arlington Texas, a 55 minutes drive on the tollway; but since the first day a discovered this nice place back in 2011 when I used to work in Plano Texas, I don’t regret the drive to come to Fish Shack at all. The owner is super nice and attentive to me an my family, the food is always fresh and tasty, the cookers in the kitchen are always friendly and attentive every time I request for something, I appreciate the cookers in the kitchen who are the ones that make this place special, the owner that is super nice all the time and the entire team at Fish Shack, I definitely recommend this place to all seafood lovers out there, don’t pay much attention to bad reviews here go and experience for yourself and you’ll see you won’t be disappointed! “We recently had the pleasure of dining at Sofra Kebab House on a cold, rainy Saturday. The owner and chef, Ray, who is from Kars in eastern Turkey greeted us and explained the dishes on the buffet. We were blown away by the flavors and authenticity of the food. We lived in Turkey for 7 years and it made us homesick. This was absolutely the best Turkish food we’ve had since moving back to the states. Some of our favorites included the grilled Adana Kebab, stuffed grape leaves, pita bread, kale salad, soup and…well we could go on and on.Ray is proud of his food and business and rightfully so. We were able to spend a little time visiting with him and although we didn’t solve any of the world’s problems, we certainly were on the same page.Great food, conversation and we made a friend!
