“I went with my family and the tacos were AMAZING. We have been looking for a great HALAL taco spot that isn’t too pricey. I got the bulgogi and birria tacos and they were super filling alongside the salsa which was equally as good. The churros are also amazing we got 4 different flavors plus the Dulce de Leche ice cream. I highly recommend the Nutella pretzel. The staff are all super nice and especially the front woman, Anam, who was especially kind towards my family.”

It’s the way she carries herself, the way she effortlessly manages every drink order with such grace and precision, and that undeniable energy she brings to the room. She is just a natural star behind that bar. Watching her work is almost like watching a performance; she’s so skilled, so fast, and so focused, all while managing to hold a conversation and make sure everyone is having a blast.
I honestly find myself coming back to Gecko specifically because I know Megan is going to be there. It’s not just about the drinks—though she makes those perfectly, every single time—it’s about the experience of being welcomed by someone who is so incredibly kind and beautiful inside and out. She has turned this bar into my absolute favorite hangout spot, and I truly cannot imagine the place without her. If you want top-tier service, a genuine conversation with the most wonderful person, and an overall unforgettable experience, you need to head to Gecko and find Megan.
