“We were looking for a quick bite, but Shun by Yama Sushi called our name. It turned out to be the best quick bite ever. We arrived at 5pm, and the hostess was able to immediately seat us.

We didn't realize the tables were set with linen and the ambiance was calm. It was exactly what we needed at the end of a hard day that wasn't over yet. We had another three hours to go.

The menu was stunning to overwhelming with all the choices that seemed wonderful. We turned our fate over to our server.

She did not disappoint.

We started with the smoothest sake.

Fresh fish arrives daily and the server selected a daily choice for us.

“My partner and I went there within an hour of them closing and we were surprised at the high quality of service, food, and overall help provided by the staff. My girlfriend was feeling really cold and the waitress even gave her a warm glass of water to help and lowered the temperature as well. “I have been so patient with waiting for the opportunity to finally try this ramen place! They opened up and by the time I had the chance to go they were temporarily closed. If you live in the 4 corners area of Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Plano you know that there's slim pickin's of GOOD ramen places around. I promise you that this one is so worth it!!! I placed an online order for take out and it said "ready in 20 min." I kid you not I walked into the building right at the 20 minute mark and the man was stapleing the bag to my order closed. Talk about precise! The man working told me that there weren't any bean sprouts in my ramen order because so they weren't fresh, to compensate he gave me an entire order of 4 veggie rolls. What?! Love that level of customer service! Plus, I was debating on even getting the veg rolls and now I'll always order them because they are delicious! Sushi was always amazing and the ramen was so good! The only adjustment I'll make to it next time is to ask for my miso veg ramen it a little spicy. My husbands spicy ramen was PLENTY spicy enough. He loved it!!! Now everytime I have a ramen craving we will be at Kuma!“

“I used to eat here religiously when I lived in Princeton. The food is better then any hibachi restaurant I've been to in dfw. I usually get steak and shrimp with fried rice and veggies. The quality is consistent; always freaking bomb, especially the fried rice!! It should be noted that I'm a huge rice critic when it comes to proper hibachi style fried rice. These people have figured it out tho, its my favorite fried rice on 380!! If your passing through at lunch or dinner time, give them a try.“

“I tried this place because it was super close to my home and it did not disappoint! I got the spicy lover sushi, which was two rolls for only $25. Honestly a very good value for the price because both rolls were amazing! I picked up my order to-go but they do have a cute, small dining area if you wanted to dine-in.
