“I brought my mom here for lunch yesterday. The waiter that served us had kind of a crappy attitude honestly. In some moments he was nice but my mom asked what comes on a bento box because she's unfamiliar and he told her "it's on the menu". She just wanted someone to explain it to her because she was confused by the sushi and the meat options. Obviously not an item she orders often. She asked what the meat is for (i think she thought you get sushi or meat she wasn't understanding it was a part of the box) and he looked at her like she was stupid and pretty flatly answered the question. It embarrassed her. My mom is a really kind hearted person so it was frustrating watching someone make her feel dumb for asking a question in an unfamiliar environment. Sad. The food itself was good. The waiter likely was having a bad day. I've been a server and understand. But wish he'd been kinder to my mom.“

I've gotten the privilege to live in Japan. Although one thing that haunts my soul is the yearning I have for the food that I left behind when returning home. This place filled my soul with a dinning experience that almost replicates the joys you find in a small little alley deep in the heart of Osaka, or Naha, or Tokyo.
It felt so authentic that when I closed my eyes for a moment I could believe I was back where I do desperately wanted to be.
This place doesn't just serve you food. It transports you back into the feeling of eating in Japan. Which is such a precious experience that is hard to recreate especially in America.
My waitress was wonderful the food left me in tears. I could go on and on about this place. But the bottom line is this place feeds you and your soul. I highly recommend.“

“Oh my gosh, this place was absolutely amazing. I’m not from this area and have been looking for a new go to sushi place, and this is it. Our waitress was a star, she was on top of everything. Even after we had boxes and were paying the bill, she refilled my drink! Which never happens. We had a chicken katsu, mountain roll, Hawaiian roll, and a Dallas Stars roll and my god they were incredible. The presentation, the amount, THE TASTE. “I love the food! Sean you have an awesome restaurant. A bit disappointed in the servers. Ive been here atleast 5 times now, the second time I came in to eat, only 1 table was seated, I requested a specific table and was told, “no, in case a bigger party comes in.” One didn’t.
My most recent issue is I called in an order for 4 sushi rolls. Order was repeated back to me and I was told to arrive in 20 minutes. I arrived and 3 server/hosts were giggling and watching tv. I was handed only ONE roll when checking out. I asked where the rest were and the server had to ring them in, while I waited 20 more minutes for the remainder of my food. I will certainly be back, but please review the training of the host girls. 💓“

The flavors are all there and it’s not too heavily seasoned. The teriyaki sauce is good and the chicken is juicy! It was a very nostalgic experience eating this teriyaki.“
