My love had their miso soup and wok fried rice. We both had pink lemonades, and at the end, they give you 2 large slices of watermelon. With tip, we spent $42. I’m glad we tried them again.“

“I brought my mom here for lunch yesterday. The waiter that served us had kind of a crappy attitude honestly. In some moments he was nice but my mom asked what comes on a bento box because she's unfamiliar and he told her "it's on the menu". She just wanted someone to explain it to her because she was confused by the sushi and the meat options. Obviously not an item she orders often. She asked what the meat is for (i think she thought you get sushi or meat she wasn't understanding it was a part of the box) and he looked at her like she was stupid and pretty flatly answered the question. It embarrassed her. My mom is a really kind hearted person so it was frustrating watching someone make her feel dumb for asking a question in an unfamiliar environment. Sad. The food itself was good. The waiter likely was having a bad day. I've been a server and understand. But wish he'd been kinder to my mom.“

I've gotten the privilege to live in Japan. Although one thing that haunts my soul is the yearning I have for the food that I left behind when returning home. This place filled my soul with a dinning experience that almost replicates the joys you find in a small little alley deep in the heart of Osaka, or Naha, or Tokyo.
It felt so authentic that when I closed my eyes for a moment I could believe I was back where I do desperately wanted to be.
This place doesn't just serve you food. It transports you back into the feeling of eating in Japan. Which is such a precious experience that is hard to recreate especially in America.
My waitress was wonderful the food left me in tears. I could go on and on about this place. But the bottom line is this place feeds you and your soul. I highly recommend.“

“This is a regular for me during lunch since I work nearby. I always get the same thing, takeout for an Alaskan Lunch Combo, comes out to $16 total with taxes.

The roll in this combo are pretty good size and they give a couple fried items, a single veggie roll and a single gyoza dumping. Comes with a little side salad and another half a California roll. This lunch fills me up every time and good quality sushi.“

Even after we had boxes and were paying the bill, she refilled my drink! Which never happens. We had a chicken katsu, mountain roll, Hawaiian roll, and a Dallas Stars roll and my god they were incredible. The presentation, the amount, THE TASTE. “Had the spicy pork Tonkotsu and tossed karage. Honestly one of the best bowls of ramen I've ever had. It was peppery and just the right amount of garlic and spice. They put the spice on the side for you to mix at your liking. I out the whole thing and it was awesome. Perfect noodles, soft pork, egg and broth were amazing. Kaarage was light and thin batter that was still crisp with the spicy sauce. They were a tad spicy but nothing crazy and the fried onions on top was a nice touch. Definitely would get these again.“
