I've gotten the privilege to live in Japan. Although one thing that haunts my soul is the yearning I have for the food that I left behind when returning home. This place filled my soul with a dinning experience that almost replicates the joys you find in a small little alley deep in the heart of Osaka, or Naha, or Tokyo.
It felt so authentic that when I closed my eyes for a moment I could believe I was back where I do desperately wanted to be.
This place doesn't just serve you food. It transports you back into the feeling of eating in Japan. Which is such a precious experience that is hard to recreate especially in America.
My waitress was wonderful the food left me in tears. I could go on and on about this place. But the bottom line is this place feeds you and your soul. I highly recommend.“

“I love the food! Sean you have an awesome restaurant. A bit disappointed in the servers. Ive been here atleast 5 times now, the second time I came in to eat, only 1 table was seated, I requested a specific table and was told, “no, in case a bigger party comes in.” One didn’t.
My most recent issue is I called in an order for 4 sushi rolls. Order was repeated back to me and I was told to arrive in 20 minutes. I arrived and 3 server/hosts were giggling and watching tv. I was handed only ONE roll when checking out. I asked where the rest were and the server had to ring them in, while I waited 20 more minutes for the remainder of my food. I will certainly be back, but please review the training of the host girls. 💓“

“The staff here is extremely friendly. The place was clean the food was decent. I have had better sushi, I ordered the daily bento, but their prices are very reasonable and with how friendly they are it is worth eating here. I came by myself for lunch.

I'm only passing through the area, but if I had the opportunity to come back I would definitely try other options on the menu as I think that might rate even higher.“

“The sushi is about half the price of most sushi places. You’ll be happy you found it. You order at the cashier and pay in advance they will bring your food to the table . They don’t have a traditional waiter . You get your own drink at a self service set up. They don’t expect a tip and That’s really refreshing. However after you go there a couple times you’ll feel like they earned it and will feel like they really deserve it. Overall I think it’s the best sushi in value in Irving.“

“We had an 8:00 PM reservation and arrived about 5 minutes early. After checking in, we waited approximately 45 minutes without being seated. During that time, we briefly stepped outside to move our car. When we returned, the host actually laughed and told us our table had already been called while we were outside. After already waiting 45 minutes with my mother and kids on what was supposed to be a special occasion, we ultimately had to leave without being seated. The evening was completely ruined. What made the situation worse was the host’s attitude. Several guests were visibly frustrated at the front, and instead of helping resolve things, he seemed to escalate the situation rather than assist anyone. Very disappointing experience. Reservations should mean something, especially when families are waiting this long.“

“I’m not sure why there are people saying they have “skimpy portions”. I received more than enough food and then some! They do teriyaki chicken very well. It reminds me of Seattle. The flavors are all there and it’s not too heavily seasoned. The teriyaki sauce is good and the chicken is juicy! It was a very nostalgic experience eating this teriyaki.“
