Panera Bread in Denton

“Went in hoping I had made it for my free soup, but I was a day late. However, I had a giftcard to use. The employees are always friendly when I visit. They take the time and care to help when I have questions. The ONLY concern yesterday was walking into the entrance. The ice was basically covering the walk way into the shop. Not normal for our area, but it made for walking difficult.

I decided to try something new. I love (and usually order) the Fuji Apple Salad, Green Goddess salad, Green Goddess sandwich, and a few other items, some not even on the menu anymore. Yesterday, I ordered the Roma Chicken sandwich and the Autumn Squash soup. I also grabbed 3 pastries to go, but I always do. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and filling. Could have used a little more chicken, but that was only because my chicken was all on one side of the bagel. The bagel was soft on the inside and perfect on the outside. The veg was fresh and awesome! I saved the soup for dinner to enjoy today with the baguette. I toasted the baguette with some mozzarella cheese to add to the soup. Honestly, the soup was beyond my expectations. It was creamy, comforting, and exactly what I needed on this cold N. Texas night. I am not normally a fan of squash but this soup has opened my mind andtaste buds. Huge fan of this soup and will definitely order again!“

“Beautiful displays. Excellent friendly cashier. I like soft music that is playing, but it is a little loud at times. We had regular coffee. We asked for and got ceramic mugs. There are 4 coffees at the coffee bar to choose from. I first tried a small amount of the dark roast. I was concerned from past experience that it wouldn't be hot. It was not hot, but lukewarm at best. My husband got a cup of hazelnut flavored coffee. It was hotter and had some steam coming off of it. I got the hazelnut flavor which was OK for being hot. I added skim milk. There is a microwave for use below the coffees. There's no outdoor seating here. I can see an open closet through an employee only doorway, and this is sloppy looking. The cold drink bar should be kept pristine, and it isn't.“
