“$5 per person to play is a great price, they have a huge selection of games! We just got some sodas so I can't really comment on the food. It does get a bit loud in the evening making it hard to talk/read instructions so I would recommend bringing earplugs to put in while reading.

“I posted a negative review originally… However, Ryan the owner reached out to me personally to try and accommodate and assess the reasons for my review. Ryan went as far as to have a private discussion which I won’t go into, in person! If that doesn’t show the management and staff cares I don’t know what does. I gladly and appreciatively took down my negative review and am overwhelmingly happy with the overall experience we simply hit a rough patch and Ryan did his part to help the customer and fix the problems. I’ve gone to the garage for a long time and plan on continuing to visit and be a regular. Thank you Ryan and thank you the garage for being a good place to come and chill out in. I can happily say I recommend this to anyone that wants to escape the monotonous clubs for some chill vibes, pool, and good drinks.“

“We really enjoyed our first visit to Harvest House! Such a cool place with a relaxed outdoor atmosphere, plenty of room to hang out with friends, and live entertainment that made for a really fun evening. Everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming, and we had a great time just sitting back and taking it all in. It’s easy to see why Harvest House has become such a popular Denton spot. “Came to celebrate my sister in law and brother in law’s birthdays, so we had 11 people total. Arrived by noon and they were able to get us all seated pretty quickly! I didn’t hear any complaints about food, but I will say The Sundance Kid burger I had was DELICIOUS! If you can’t decide what side to get between fries, chips, or onion rings… skip the fries! The chips were pure deliciousness in my mouth and my husband and daughter swore up and down the onion rings were the best they ever had. Sophie was very attentive and personable and didn’t mind my 6yo talking too much, which is always a plus when people have patience for the youngest of the younger crowd! Between the atmosphere (even the bathrooms smelled nice and were super clean!), the wonderful staff, and the delicious burgers, we would love to come back! As my youngest said: “I give this place a ten out of ten stars!”“

“Absolutely the best bar. I go there a couple hours early before my movie every week. The bartender is incredible, nice, and the absolute most creative person I met. He makes his own menu that is not done at any other Alamo and knocks it out the park every time. No, you think I mean cocktails you see other places. No I mean he makes cocktails special for the movie, as in both taste and name specific for that movie and they're incredible. He even sets the bar up, dresses up, and puts on music for movies that come out.I don't know how the hell the bar has such a low rating, but he deserves a bonus and the bartender deserves a Michelin star.No karaoke. Stop asking. There's a little stage I think, but I couldn't be happier there's not karaoke.“

“The vibe of this place smacked me in the face when I walked through the door. Ramiro was the best bartender. I was so lucky to get served by him again coincidentally I got to see him last year on my birthday!! He has always guided me in the right direction learning all the yummy shots. The other day my car battery died when I was trying to get home from class and he helped jump it. Thank you Ramiro and Cecily. I cannot express my thanks enough to every person that works here. The food is also so scrumptious, had the thanksgiving burger when I had no thanks giving plans and the whole staff was so welcoming that day even though they had to be at work. COME DRINK AT BEANS.“

“Just got out of Alamo for a late night showing of Toy Story 5. I was the only one in the theater, which was great because I didn’t embarrass myself for how emotional the film made me. I’ve been a season pass subscriber for as long as they’ve had it, minus here and there. I’ve absolutely hated the measures Sony has taken to remove the personal aspect of the cinema experience while putting more pressure on the employees. I miss the old days. But I wanted to commend my server for their performance tonight. Not only was she extra chipper on an evening where I’m sure they weren’t making much money, but she reminded me of how the Alamo experience used to be. I’m sure the new format of the business puts all kinds of stress on the employees (I’ve been in similar situations), so to still see joy for the job, that’s applaudable. Especially in an era where so many people are cynical. Bravo!“
