“We went for the first time last night on a whim and had one of the best dinners and service ever. We had reservations at 6:15, and arrived an hour earlier than planned. The hosts adjusted on the fly and sat us immediately (it was pre dinner rush and there were tables available). Our server Taylor was personable, knowledgeable (knew the menu front to back, including items that weren’t on the menu), and attentive. We started with a couple of their signature cocktails and the meatball appetizer, followed by the surf and turf and veal chops, and ended with the cheesecake and the peanut butter cup martini. Everything, let me repeat EVERYTHING, was amazing. Not once did we feel like we were being rushed by the staff to finish, empty plates and glasses were picked up promptly and discreetly by the busser. Even though it was our first time there, Taylor instantly made us feel like we were long time regulars and friends. The entire experience was top notch. Definitely will be added to our restaurant rotation.“

“1845 was incredible! Went there for a business dinner was thoroughly impressed. Sad I don’t recall our server’s name but he was incredible! He explained the story behind 1845, knew the menu by heart, provided excellent suggestions and was attentive.

On top of the service being fantastic the food is next level. Steak cooked perfectly, appetizers were great and dessert had me speechless. The only thing I would recommend is to offer complimentary bread similar to most other steak houses and offer other sizes of steaks. 14oz is massive and since I was travelling I didn’t want to waste it. However if you had a smaller portion such as a 10oz ribeye I would have been all over it. Ended up ordering the 7oz filet mignon which was great but I would have preferred the ribeye.

The ambiance was modern with a lot of Texas flare. Overall, very impressed with everything.“

“We visited Verf's on 9/19/25 and Jose F was our waiter. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“
