“Awesome Times is just a really great place to get a simple quality meal with no fuss. Their burgers and sandwiches are great. Their bowls are delicious. The bar has lots of great drinks. They have hosted the Marcus Varsity Baseball team for team dinners several times and given the booster club a good deal. They were a great place for parents to come after we defeated Southlake in the playoffs. Awesome Times has catered my son’s graduation party. Awesome Times consistently makes great food and delivers excellent service. My family goes there at least a couple times a month and we plan to continue.“

“We ate here today and had a wonderful experience. They were accommodating with the table so we could see the Packers game, patient with our spirited young child, and the food was fantastic. Our waiter was attentive but not overbearing. We’ll for sure be back often!“

“$5 per person to play is a great price, they have a huge selection of games! We just got some sodas so I can't really comment on the food. It does get a bit loud in the evening making it hard to talk/read instructions so I would recommend bringing earplugs to put in while reading.

“I come here for the friendly staff, good mocktails, ciders, mead, and the golden root ginger beer. I’m allergic to wheat so this is one of the places in town I like to come to regularly because I have lots of options. If you’re allergic to gluten be sure to ask for some of the fancier drinks especially the holiday menus, sometimes some of the bars around here like to garnish things with the forbidden snacks, but they always have plenty of options. Really chill place to hang out and have several drinks. Lots of fun events each month. Life drawing with Artists’ Grove Tattoo and Art Studio is my favorite.“

“We went for the first time last night on a whim and had one of the best dinners and service ever. We had reservations at 6:15, and arrived an hour earlier than planned. The hosts adjusted on the fly and sat us immediately (it was pre dinner rush and there were tables available). Our server Taylor was personable, knowledgeable (knew the menu front to back, including items that weren’t on the menu), and attentive. We started with a couple of their signature cocktails and the meatball appetizer, followed by the surf and turf and veal chops, and ended with the cheesecake and the peanut butter cup martini. Everything, let me repeat EVERYTHING, was amazing. Not once did we feel like we were being rushed by the staff to finish, empty plates and glasses were picked up promptly and discreetly by the busser. Even though it was our first time there, Taylor instantly made us feel like we were long time regulars and friends. The entire experience was top notch. Definitely will be added to our restaurant rotation.“

“The hidden jewel in Lewisville! Established in 1988 and has been a staple for the community with a “cheers” atmosphere. Bar staff is top notch and attentive. From karaoke to poker (and other events mixed in), there’s something for everyone here. Daily drink specials to wet your whistle and one of the few places you can come in knowing nobody and end the night with at least a half dozen new friends. Patrons range from mid 20’s to 70’s and all are here to have a great time.“

“I stopped in this place a few weeks ago. It wasn't too packed, and I hung out at the bar for a while, watching some guys play pool. The crowd seemed to leave about 10:30 and it was pretty empty at that point. The bartender that night was Jadis, who was amazing and very good about answering questions about the leagues and pool tournaments held there. I ordered the pork chop, which was the best meal I had on my short trip as well. If you're in the area, stop by for the pork chop, and ask for Jadis!“

It's quite a busy restaurant and their food and service are why. They quickly and efficiently served our party of 10. Loved the storyteller, prior to our meal. The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“I posted a negative review originally… However, Ryan the owner reached out to me personally to try and accommodate and assess the reasons for my review. Ryan went as far as to have a private discussion which I won’t go into, in person! If that doesn’t show the management and staff cares I don’t know what does. I gladly and appreciatively took down my negative review and am overwhelmingly happy with the overall experience we simply hit a rough patch and Ryan did his part to help the customer and fix the problems. I’ve gone to the garage for a long time and plan on continuing to visit and be a regular. Thank you Ryan and thank you the garage for being a good place to come and chill out in. “🍳 Sunday Brunch Review – J. Macklin’s (Coppell, TX) 🍳 My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch at J. Macklin’s and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, perfect for a weekend meal. We did have an extended wait (they were out of biscuits 😅), but I have to give major credit to the management and wait staff. They handled it extremely well and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Truly phenomenal service, they turned the situation around and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Bacon Board, which has a fun concept but could use a little more creativity. Just maple syrup on bacon didn’t quite hit the mark, but with a little flair this could easily be their signature appetizer. Now the entrées were exceptional. ✔️ My wife’s Southern Benny was flavorful and perfectly executed. ✔️ I had the grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup and fries and let me just say, those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Bottom line: 🔹 Great vibe, 🔹 excellent main dishes, 🔹 and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“The vibe of this place smacked me in the face when I walked through the door. Ramiro was the best bartender. I was so lucky to get served by him again coincidentally I got to see him last year on my birthday!! He has always guided me in the right direction learning all the yummy shots. The other day my car battery died when I was trying to get home from class and he helped jump it. Thank you Ramiro and Cecily. I cannot express my thanks enough to every person that works here. The food is also so scrumptious, had the thanksgiving burger when I had no thanks giving plans and the whole staff was so welcoming that day even though they had to be at work. COME DRINK AT BEANS.“
