“Great service and friendly“

“We have been coming to Bistecca regularly for years for special occasions such as anniversaries, birthday, graduation or personal accomplishments. Bistecca is normally a 5-star, last night's experience was by far the worst service we have ever had in all the times we have come to Bistecca. I guess of all the times we have come, we always have have had exceptional service, but our waitress last night was horrible, she was nice but horrible service. She seem like she had no clue or needed better training. It started out fine when we got seated and she greeted us and noticed that we were celebrating my birthday. She took our drink order and it went downhill from there. She disappeared and rarely checked in on us, thankfully there was another waiter that was tending to us getting us refills and cleaning off our table as we finished each course. Our waitress didn't even mention or let us know about the evening's chef special, just took our order. Didn't ask if we needed refills on our drinks and only came by after the waiter cleaned up our dishes and packaged our leftover. She dropped off the dessert menu and said to look over it and she would be back to take our order. Normally when we are celebrating an occasion, they usually offer a free dessert. When she came back to take our dessert order, my wife said we would pass on dessert but inquired about a birthday dessert and our waitress said, oh ya, if you want one, I can bring it? By this time, we were done and ready to go therefore declined. This was not a normal Bistecca service that we have become accustomed to, I am thinking it is just an off night and will continue to come. Food was still delicious and ambiance was romantic and quiet as we like it.“

“They catered out "Marriage & Mimosa" Brunch send off on Sunday. It was all amazing. When we ran out of food, the delivered more and it was even better! lol! From the Bagels, eggs to the tater tot casseroles and wings. I would 100% use them again.“

“Update from prior review.... The atmosphere and service continues to be amazing! Shelby is a kind and happy bartender that makes one heck of an old fashioned! Darian the other bartender made my first one and it was a 10! Both of them are wonderful! Bobby the service staff manager is funny and makes you feel like an old friend. Tell him star wars is better than star trek and you might have a debate on your hands! I had the 30oz porkchop and its no joke! The team in the kitchen have some sort of magic! I took the bones home because the public is not ready to see me chew away all the tender goodness from them. And the glaze is to die for! Michelle is a fun and well dressed character. “Exceptional stop within Denton Town Square if you have the time. The drinks are priced very fairly and there is a HUGE selection, and all three drinks that I tried were very enjoyable and I'm not that big of a beer person so I think that says a lot!

There are also TONS of board games across many different genres, titles, styles, and brands so you'll definitely find something fun to play whether it's something familiar or something new! Regardless, highly recommend this place for the games and drinks!“

“We went for the first time last night on a whim and had one of the best dinners and service ever. We had reservations at 6:15, and arrived an hour earlier than planned. The hosts adjusted on the fly and sat us immediately (it was pre dinner rush and there were tables available). Our server Taylor was personable, knowledgeable (knew the menu front to back, including items that weren’t on the menu), and attentive. We started with a couple of their signature cocktails and the meatball appetizer, followed by the surf and turf and veal chops, and ended with the cheesecake and the peanut butter cup martini. Everything, let me repeat EVERYTHING, was amazing. Not once did we feel like we were being rushed by the staff to finish, empty plates and glasses were picked up promptly and discreetly by the busser. Even though it was our first time there, Taylor instantly made us feel like we were long time regulars and friends. The entire experience was top notch. Definitely will be added to our restaurant rotation.“

The crowd seemed to leave about 10:30 and it was pretty empty at that point. The bartender that night was Jadis, who was amazing and very good about answering questions about the leagues and pool tournaments held there. I ordered the pork chop, which was the best meal I had on my short trip as well. If you're in the area, stop by for the pork chop, and ask for Jadis!“

The food was wonderful, and our waiter Jose did an excellent job checking on us but not becoming annoying by constantly asking if we needed anything. We sat near the bar which was a tad noisy, but the booth we were seated in was uncomfortable and better suited for larger people b/c the table is too far away from the seats. And our table had an uneven wood surface as we cut into our food. Lastly, the $2.50 discount for Police/Fire/Vets should be a little more ... say 15%. Otherwise, it was an outstanding dining experience.“

“I posted a negative review originally… However, Ryan the owner reached out to me personally to try and accommodate and assess the reasons for my review. Ryan went as far as to have a private discussion which I won’t go into, in person! If that doesn’t show the management and staff cares I don’t know what does. I gladly and appreciatively took down my negative review and am overwhelmingly happy with the overall experience we simply hit a rough patch and Ryan did his part to help the customer and fix the problems. I’ve gone to the garage for a long time and plan on continuing to visit and be a regular. Thank you Ryan and thank you the garage for being a good place to come and chill out in. I can happily say I recommend this to anyone that wants to escape the monotonous clubs for some chill vibes, pool, and good drinks.“

“🍳 Sunday Brunch Review – J. Macklin’s (Coppell, TX) 🍳 My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch at J. Macklin’s and overall had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively but comfortable, perfect for a weekend meal. We did have an extended wait (they were out of biscuits 😅), but I have to give major credit to the management and wait staff. They handled it extremely well and even offered a discount for the inconvenience. Truly phenomenal service, they turned the situation around and made us feel taken care of. We tried the Bacon Board, which has a fun concept but could use a little more creativity. Just maple syrup on bacon didn’t quite hit the mark, but with a little flair this could easily be their signature appetizer. Now the entrées were exceptional. ✔️ My wife’s Southern Benny was flavorful and perfectly executed. ✔️ I had the grilled cheese with a hearty tomato soup and fries and let me just say, those fries were some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Bottom line: 🔹 Great vibe, 🔹 excellent main dishes, 🔹 and top-tier service. We’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Top favorites were the mentaiko creamy udon and the yakitori. HM was the grilled salmon kama. They give lots of seafood and toppings for the udon, and the udon was the perfect texture and chewiness. Yakitoris were tender and juicy. Got the negima and momo yakitoris. Earl grey highball was slightly too sweet, but could probably request for less sweet next time.

…only downside was the AC blowing on us and the food making the food cool down too fast while eating. felt rushed eating because the food was getting cold. wouldn’t recommend sitting in the back table near the restrooms…

“Came to celebrate my sister in law and brother in law’s birthdays, so we had 11 people total. Arrived by noon and they were able to get us all seated pretty quickly! I didn’t hear any complaints about food, but I will say The Sundance Kid burger I had was DELICIOUS! If you can’t decide what side to get between fries, chips, or onion rings… skip the fries! The chips were pure deliciousness in my mouth and my husband and daughter swore up and down the onion rings were the best they ever had. Sophie was very attentive and personable and didn’t mind my 6yo talking too much, which is always a plus when people have patience for the youngest of the younger crowd! Between the atmosphere (even the bathrooms smelled nice and were super clean!), the wonderful staff, and the delicious burgers, we would love to come back! As my youngest said: “I give this place a ten out of ten stars!”“

“Absolute best Mexican food in the country! I have had Mexican food all over the US and in Mexico and Chante tops them all! We used to go here weekly and love the staff, food, and environment! We now drive 4 hours a few times a year just to go to Chante! Highly highly recommend!“
