“We went for the first time last night on a whim and had one of the best dinners and service ever. We had reservations at 6:15, and arrived an hour earlier than planned. The hosts adjusted on the fly and sat us immediately (it was pre dinner rush and there were tables available). Our server Taylor was personable, knowledgeable (knew the menu front to back, including items that weren’t on the menu), and attentive. We started with a couple of their signature cocktails and the meatball appetizer, followed by the surf and turf and veal chops, and ended with the cheesecake and the peanut butter cup martini. The lovely lady made me a special drink for my throat that I had and was wonderful. Apparently it was a drink her grandmother made when sick. My heart is full and this place is very special. “This is my go to place for my Cajun craving fix. The kids have a space outside to play. The staff is always friendly and the food is amazing. Last night was THE BEST experience ever there. We were craving Cajun but it was going to be almost 10:30 when we got there. (They close at 11) So I called ahead to order food so we could sit and eat right away. The manager was so sweet and said, no need to call ahead, just come on in. Insisted! It’s almost end of shift and our server was still smiling and friendly as ever. I’ll be honest, I didn’t leave a huge tip, mostly because it feels like so many places these days expect a tip even for takeout, and I’m always much happier tipping when the little details and service are there too.

We had to ask for a couple specific pizzas to be brought to our table because they hadn't been offered while others were brought multiple times. 2. They don't inform you of their auto-gratuity policy when checking in for your reservation, nor upon giving you the bill. I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.“
