“Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I’m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn’t appreciate the situation.She didn’t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.“

“HIDDEN GEM! Thank the Yelp gods for guiding us to this spot because it was a 10/10. Me and my family were looking for an affordable place to eat that also had great food to offer so after some research, we saw the great reviews at Valentino’s and decided to give it a shot. At first glance, I did wonder if I accidentally sent us to a bar in hopes of food. But we were welcomed in (warmly) and sat & once we laid eyes on the menu we quickly got over ourselves. The staff recommended us a specialty Texas sized pizza and a wings special. I don’t know how else to convey how good the food was other than to show you our table post feast. We TORE it up—hot, fresh, delicious. All the while, we listened to the best music (may be biased because it was pretty close to me and my husband’s personal playlists) and the vibes were high. “This is a nice place to go Salsa dancing I don't no if it suppose to be a bar, club, restaurant or lounge from the outside. I went with a friend and apparently they charge a cover to get in however no one was at the door by the time we walked around the ropes a man approached us and said normally we charge but you guys can sit at the bar lol so we did just that. They have a patio and sections like a club. The food was okay if you need to put something on your belly. But not worth talking about. Our server was so sweet and nice.“

“Im from Louisiana, I go here for the crawfish and boudin balls and babbbbyyyyy. They taste just like home. The seasoning is NOT on the outside of the crawfish like alot of these fake places its boiled in with the crawfish the way its supposed to be. (iykyk) The atmosphere and staff are friendly as well.“

“My favorite favorite coffee shop!! Not only is the place aesthetically pleasing, the coffee is by far the best I’ve had in the DFW area. You just get picky with coffee when you’re from Seattle. My second time here the other day, macchiato was kind of disappointing. This will not stop me from revisiting. I loved my americano, lavender latte and honey + vanilla latte. “Moxies sets the bar high for neighboring restaurants and is a great example of what what makes dining in special- great food, mood setting atmosphere and service that is attentive/friendly/cares/presents well. I love that the staff are all very professionally dressed (there is definitely a specific attire aesthetic which I think is achieved tastefully). Moxies has a pretty large space and turn tables quickly even when busy, which is often. I've walked in and been told the wait is 30 minutes and get seated a lot sooner. Worth the wait either way. Their menu isn't too robust which is nice because you end up finding your favorites. Two things that I love and crave often - the sushi cones and the seared ahi ginger salad. Both are a textural experience full of punchy and delicious Asian flavors. Just yum!“

“Good upscale pizza spot, even if it is a bit chaotic. Once you finally find parking in this patch of Southlake retail and walk up, the fair-sized covered patio can be pretty inviting. However, if you brave the indoor area, you'll feel like you've stumbled into a college town pizza pub for the middle-aged. The wooden interior and high ceilings combine for a noisy environment once it starts getting busy. After being seated, we watched servers and food runners scurry around from table to table, trying to keep up while simultaneously missing an opportunity to greet us and get drinks started (took a good 5 minutes to reveal who was working our table).But honestly, these are minor gripes in the big picture here. Once they arrived, our server was friendly and quick on the drinks when they weren't rushing between tables. We opted for the family dinner, which is both a good deal and a lot of leftovers if you have 4 people or less. We added a meatball appetizer, and the seasoned meat and marinara went great with the perfectly toasted bread. The pretzel that came with the dinner package was okay, but honestly felt more like a giant, twisted breadstick (the queso that we paid extra for didn't do it any favors, either). The farm style salad was actually really delicious, probably helped by coating the whole bowl with ranch. This is also the point of the dinner when we realized that we needed to hurry up and finish our first course(s), as table real estate was VERY limited for us, and a big pizza was soon to be en route. The Classic Rossa came out piping hot, but still soft enough that toppings were hanging on for dear life as I scarfed each delicious slice. If you're an older pizza fan, or just a family that's had enough CiCi's for a while, you'll like the step up in class this pizza place provides.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza and salads“
“Had the best fried chicken sandwich of my entire life here. Maybe I was more hungry than usual, or perhaps I came with low expectations to a touristy area for a Tuesday lunch. Maybe I was still riding the high from the eclipse earlier in the week. But the chicken was perfect, the bun was just right, and it served with a side of gravy for the sandwich (yes, put it on the sandwich!). Fries were top-notch as well. Plenty of good beers on tap. My wife had one of the salads, but I can't recall which one because I had to protect my fries the whole time. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still thinking of that fried chicken sandwich. I don't come to Dallas much, but when I do, I will be back to see if this experience can be repeated.“

“Had so much fun. The band D.O.B. did a great job. Found out they perform every Friday night. I love how it's a live band on one side and a DJ on the other side of the club so that you can enjoy either side. The food was good, and I loved the fried pickles. I will definitely be back. First it’s a cool looking place with different little rooms, a back patio, and a cute little bar. I decided on a personal chicken pesto pizza and ate it ALL (not typical I eat all my food even a personal pizza). My bartender (I think her name was Monica) instantly became my bestie. They have LOTS of beer options! I tried a lavender beer. I only planned to have one with my pizza but like I said Monica… I ended up staying and having 4 lol.“

“A very laid back local beer bar. They started brewing their own small batch beers, earlier this year. The other night I tried their red, and it was excellent. They have weekly trivia, and bands from jazz to rock on the weekends. The crowd is an unpretentious mix of Pantego and beyond locals, leaning towards a more mature crowd. Also so of the friendliest bartenders you will find. The have about 35-40 drink options that rotate somewhat. You are apt to find anything from a apple brandy barrel aged imperial stout, to a blackberry mead, and plenty in between.“
