“We found this location by chance shortly after it rebranded and have been going back consistently ever since. The service is unmatched and authentic - everyone is so personable and kind. “We had a birthday celebration for our party of 9 and from start to finish our service, meal, and the atmosphere were nothing short of amazing! We were treated so well and every appetizer, entree, and dessert were freshly made to perfection. The fried tenderloin, the ribeye, beef bourguignon, filet medallions, and salmon were delicious. We ordered the lobster bites and the garlic goat cheese appetizers that were a perfect start to the meal. We enjoyed the food so much I only got a pic of the sheet cake. The jalapeno and apple cobbler, blueberry buttermilk pie, and Texas sheet cake were the best way to end the evening. We will definitely be revisiting The Classic Cafe.“

“I went to Sunshine with my best friend one night because we were trying to explore Arlington at the time.. Long story short… i have rarely went to any other bars since that day. Every bartender has become a close friend and every customer is different. I literally have taken my grandmother here twice and she loves it. There is every type of crowd and a wide range of ages/music nightly.. cheap enough drinks that are served by bartenders who actually care. Shoutout Kate..Val.. I came in a complete stranger, and left with a few friends. I really enjoyed the Thursday and Monday night Open jams. Pork chop is a killer harmonica player, and Garret the Bartender is groovy on the bass. Sweet is an artist on the drums.

They took good care of me, and they'll treat you well too“

I ordered the 10oz tenderloin medium with the loaded sweet potato, husband ordered the burger and fries and we shared a side of Mac and cheese. The steak was VERY good and cooked perfectly medium. The sweet potato was…okay but I’m not a big fan of them anyway. The Mac and cheese was so good. Big shells and creamy not watery. We also ordered dessert to go and that was great to have in the room. Staff was so nice and laid back but professional. All in all. A nice surprise!“

“Very nice restaurant in the doubletree. Convenient because I just walked downstairs and ordered food to go. Hostess was very polite and friendly and grabbed me an ice water while I waited. I only had to wait less than ten minutes. The picture does not do the black bean burger justice because it was delicious and flavorful. There were two bean Pattie’s and they were stuffed with a layer of beans, corn, peppers and onions. It was tasty and very filling.“
