“My mother-in-law took my husband and I here to celebrate his birthday. We all could not say enough about how delicious the food was! The steak was SO tender, mashed potatoes and green beans were perfect! And the Creamy Roasted Poblano soup was amazing! My husband said his Ceasar salad was the best he has ever had. We were so full, we could not hold any dessert. But, they brought a small bowl of ice cream with fresh berries and wrote around the plate "Happy Birthday" in chocolate and brought us 3 spoons. They have many employees that have been there for over 20 years. When I walked in, I was greeted by someone who I later learned was one of the owner - super friendly and personable guy.I ordered a mai tai which may have been one of the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant was very knowledgeable in their cooking and quickly and seriously recommended alternatives to what she ordered. They even prepared the food in an alternative fashion due to her allergies. I was very impressed. We shared meals and the alternative cooking method was still very flavorful and tasty.“
“Mark was a wonderful bartender. He was our first bartender there and he was fantastic. However, we went a third time (3/22/24) and there was a woman. I unfortunately did not get her name. She served me and told me that I was being too loud. I apologized saying that I am from a loud family. I’m sensitive and cried out of embarrassment. Whenever my friend arrived and asked me how I was. I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I assured her that I never spoke a bad word about her just repeated that she told me I was too loud. I was embarrassed. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . I no longer feel welcome at my favorite whiskey bar. My fiends tried talking to her to understand the friction and called her out on her rudeness simply by asking her why she was taking digs at me. They didn’t appreciate the situation.She didn’t have to keep insulting me/putting me down. I just needed a moment to process my embarrassment I already apologized for.“

A slight amount of spice (I could've used a little more- even though I ate the serrano pepper they served as garnish). We also got the chicken nachos, donkey tails, and fish and chips.I would definitely suggest the chili. The donkey tails to go with the queso was pretty tasty as well. The fish and chips was a real stand out. The breading was very crispy and delicate. It was not overly greasy. The best I have ever had was in Hong Kong- those British folks taught them well. If you're not feeling like chili, try the fish and chips. You will not be disappointed.The beers were cold and the service was prompt and didn't let me sit with an empty beer for more than a few seconds.“

“Had so much fun. The band D.O.B. did a great job. Found out they perform every Friday night. I love how it's a live band on one side and a DJ on the other side of the club so that you can enjoy either side. The food was good, and I loved the fried pickles. I will definitely be back. Oh yeah and the ladies restroom has 2 women in there who can do your nails, feet, lashes, give you lotion, wipes, sanitary items, poopouri, and anything you need to keep you from being musty.“

Between our three diners we had sambusas to start, then lamb kabob dinner, chicken kabob dinner, and beef stew. The spinach is amazing, the fou fou outstanding, and don't miss their dessert - it's kind of a bread/biscuit/not too sweet an ending. The bartenders were friendly and made beer recommendations and offered samples to try. I opted to start with a flight and then stuck with their Dunkel. I had a side salad and the steak sandwich from one of the counter service restaurants that serve at the brewery as well. The live acoustic music was an added bonus too!“

The service at the bar was very nice and they are very accomodating when it comes to modification requests. Lots of places will forego a bun or give you some sort of "lettuce wrap", but they've got it down to an art where your sandwich or taco is actually enjoyable. The place is new, clean, nice, and fun. We will be back probably to both. Chili Cheese tots or cajun fries are my favorites so far. The bar tender suggested the cajun fries and suggested ranch because they have a kick that builds... take her suggestion, have the ranch handy!“
