“Water Hole is a great place to stop and quench that thirst. They have 10 pool tables, with nice felt and 9 long, good, tables to sit at, and that's just inside. Outside they have about 9 more tables and a stage. Not sure if they have bands here on certain nights or not. The staff was very polite and on their jobs. Food was good: Pizza, Corndog, Pretzel, Bar food but it all was cooked well and tasted good. I would suggest this community bar if you are looking for something to do.“

I love that the staff are all very professionally dressed (there is definitely a specific attire aesthetic which I think is achieved tastefully). Moxies has a pretty large space and turn tables quickly even when busy, which is often. I've walked in and been told the wait is 30 minutes and get seated a lot sooner. Worth the wait either way. Their menu isn't too robust which is nice because you end up finding your favorites. Two things that I love and crave often - the sushi cones and the seared ahi ginger salad. Both are a textural experience full of punchy and delicious Asian flavors. Just yum!“

I’m told them that I was told I was too loud. The bartender then came back and accused me too of acting like I was 12 and Making her a villain. I didn’t feel welcome and we attempted to pay but she said to not worry about the drink.I don’t understand what happened or why she was mad that I told my friend what she told me . “Good upscale pizza spot, even if it is a bit chaotic. Once you finally find parking in this patch of Southlake retail and walk up, the fair-sized covered patio can be pretty inviting. However, if you brave the indoor area, you'll feel like you've stumbled into a college town pizza pub for the middle-aged. The wooden interior and high ceilings combine for a noisy environment once it starts getting busy. After being seated, we watched servers and food runners scurry around from table to table, trying to keep up while simultaneously missing an opportunity to greet us and get drinks started (took a good 5 minutes to reveal who was working our table).But honestly, these are minor gripes in the big picture here. Once they arrived, our server was friendly and quick on the drinks when they weren't rushing between tables. We opted for the family dinner, which is both a good deal and a lot of leftovers if you have 4 people or less. We added a meatball appetizer, and the seasoned meat and marinara went great with the perfectly toasted bread. The pretzel that came with the dinner package was okay, but honestly felt more like a giant, twisted breadstick (the queso that we paid extra for didn't do it any favors, either). The farm style salad was actually really delicious, probably helped by coating the whole bowl with ranch. This is also the point of the dinner when we realized that we needed to hurry up and finish our first course(s), as table real estate was VERY limited for us, and a big pizza was soon to be en route. The Classic Rossa came out piping hot, but still soft enough that toppings were hanging on for dear life as I scarfed each delicious slice. If you're an older pizza fan, or just a family that's had enough CiCi's for a while, you'll like the step up in class this pizza place provides.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza and salads“
“Had the best fried chicken sandwich of my entire life here. Maybe I was more hungry than usual, or perhaps I came with low expectations to a touristy area for a Tuesday lunch. Maybe I was still riding the high from the eclipse earlier in the week. But the chicken was perfect, the bun was just right, and it served with a side of gravy for the sandwich (yes, put it on the sandwich!). Fries were top-notch as well. Plenty of good beers on tap. My wife had one of the salads, but I can't recall which one because I had to protect my fries the whole time. It's been 2 weeks and I'm still thinking of that fried chicken sandwich. I don't come to Dallas much, but when I do, I will be back to see if this experience can be repeated.“

First it’s a cool looking place with different little rooms, a back patio, and a cute little bar. They have weekly trivia, and bands from jazz to rock on the weekends. The crowd is an unpretentious mix of Pantego and beyond locals, leaning towards a more mature crowd. Also so of the friendliest bartenders you will find. The have about 35-40 drink options that rotate somewhat.
