“My wife and I are regulars at Bedford Ice House. We’re here at least once a week, so we’ve had plenty of great experiences here over time. Tonight I wanted to give a shoutout to our waitress, Hailey, because she really stood out.

In my business at Sofia Lucas, I pay close attention to service and the little details that make an experience feel smooth and easy. Hailey absolutely nailed that. She was friendly, quick, and had great awareness of the table the whole time. Drinks stayed full, food came out right, and she checked in at the perfect moments without ever being overbearing.

You can tell when someone genuinely cares about the guest experience, and Hailey definitely does.

This is actually my first time leaving a review, but I felt like the service deserved it. We love coming here and I’m already looking forward to next Sunday when we’re back again.

“The employees here made an egregious false police report & issued a criminal trespass on a person who never went into the establishment. Patronizing this place could be a huge risk to your freedom & well being. Disgusting behavior!🤮“

“We went for the first time last night on a whim and had one of the best dinners and service ever. We had reservations at 6:15, and arrived an hour earlier than planned. The hosts adjusted on the fly and sat us immediately (it was pre dinner rush and there were tables available). Our server Taylor was personable, knowledgeable (knew the menu front to back, including items that weren’t on the menu), and attentive. We started with a couple of their signature cocktails and the meatball appetizer, followed by the surf and turf and veal chops, and ended with the cheesecake and the peanut butter cup martini. Everything, let me repeat EVERYTHING, was amazing. Not once did we feel like we were being rushed by the staff to finish, empty plates and glasses were picked up promptly and discreetly by the busser. Even though it was our first time there, Taylor instantly made us feel like we were long time regulars and friends. The entire experience was top notch. Definitely will be added to our restaurant rotation.“

“We found this location by chance shortly after it rebranded and have been going back consistently ever since. The service is unmatched and authentic - everyone is so personable and kind. We’ve never had a less than stellar experience. We’ve celebrated birthdays, Valentine’s Day, brunches, and even just drinks - all exquisite. “You don’t “visit” Doug’s Dive you accidentally end up there and somehow have the best night of your life. It’s the kind of place where time stops, logic disappears, and by closing time you’re best friends with a guy who swears he invented Wi-Fi.

I got the King's Comida platter which featured 3 enchiladas dressed in different salsas as well as a taco on the side. The server, Trinity, was highly professional and friendly. I love this place. Sometimes you come across people who can't function in society. Toast is one of those individuals. Again, I love this bar.“

You can see it in one of my photos and it turned out to be far from an ordinary salad. The Caesar dressing was unbelievably good and I would go back just for that. They don't inform you of their auto-gratuity policy when checking in for your reservation, nor upon giving you the bill. I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.“
