Last night we stopped by for a few drinks and heard a man speaking real nasty to one of the bartenders. He said some pretty rude and racist things from what we heard and judging by her face it wasn't her first rodeo!!!
She handled it better than I would have... Politely asked if he was gonna order drinks or to step aside for the next guest.

“Just left and will never go back. Ordered a burger and didn’t realize until I had eaten several bites that a large portion in the middle was totally raw. Not just undercooked a little - totally raw. I chose to not send it back as I had consumed some of it but saved it to show the waitress. When she told the manager, the manager blamed her ( the waitress). I then spoke to the manager and she would not listen and kept insisting it was the waitress who was responsible. She talked right over me, and was downright nasty.She admitted she didn’t bother to look at the burger. No customer service skills whatsoever. I was not asking for anything just explaining it was not the waitress’ fault that the kitchen didn’t cook the burger. The waitress was very concerned and apologized. She did an excellent job of customer service.“

“The Hyatt Place Fort Worth/TCU hotel is a great location for TCU-related stays in Fort Worth. It also has a great bar on top of the roof called Lot 12. It was at Lot 12 that we decided to host a graduation party for my daughter who graduated from TCU this past May.

I just want to say how fantastic the party was. The venue itself is fabulous with great views. It's split between A/C space and outdoor space, both of which are nice to have depending on the weather. The party coordinator Reagan was the best. She made it easy to pull off the party even though we are from out-of-town. Reagan was flexible enough to accommodate our food choices, and the food itself was tasty and enjoyable. The beverage staff behind the bar was top shelf and smoothly kept the beverages flowing. All things considered, the party was a smashing event due in large part to the staff at Lot 12. We couldn't have been happier with the outcome.

You don't necessarily need to throw a party at Lot 12, although if you did it will be a hoot. It's worth paying a visit there for a cocktail or two before you move on to your next stop. Thank you, Lot 12 for making a great memory for our daughter's graduation, and thank you Regan for your help in pulling it off.“

The icing on the cake is when the barkeep is on point too. Derek is a legit cocktail artist who is appropriately conversational, but laser focused on ensuring you’re comfortable and getting the full Amber Room experience. It doesn’t hurt he is the world’s “okayest” bartender either. And according to rumors on X (Twitter) his Whisky Sour is probably one of the best in the entire DFW market. Great place for a date. Great place for good, soulful, libation infused conversations, but comfortable enough for a solo guy (like me) to pull up to the bar and settle in for a few rounds. Keep The Amber Room at the top of your go-to places in the DFW area!“

“I live in Burleson. I googled "Pool Playing" it took me to PUCKETTS. Lots of tables, 4 tables required quarters all others regulation size. LADIES play FREE, Sunday- Thursday!! Drinks are priced great, taste great & great service! You're allowed to bring in your own food, snacks but no drinks. They open at 3:00 pm.“
