I love this place!!! It's so laid back, dimmed lighting, nothing bright. The folks that visit are friendly and aren't in your business. They have a music box you can play whatever you want, the bartenders are welcoming and nice. You can bring your furry friends, and it's right down from Dickies Arena. Definitely always make a stop when I'm around the block.
I'm from Houston, then Austin, I love British/Irish themed pubs.Upon visiting Fort Worth for work, I discovered Ye Olde Bull & Bush. It's more of a dive bar than a pub, which is fine because I love dive bars. It still smells like cigarettes (which I also love) because the smoking ban didn't take hold until 2017, and they opened in 1999.They have the flags of England, Scotland, and Wales, but not Ireland. If it’s a nice day, you can’t find a better spot in SL. Outdoor seating and roll top doors to bring the outside in. Highly recommend the half price wine by the glass. Had the skewers and mushroom fondue. Both delightful. Big bar area (which is my preference). Great addition to the SL town center.
