“The ambiance and service were quite good. Food presentation was underwhelming for the level of dining experience and the preparation was good but again not next level. The white chocolate truffles on the desert were sublime though and there were gems throughout the meal courses. Nice to try once but unlikely to drive from Arlington again to experience when could go to far north Dallas for Lavendou.”

“Have tried numerous Top 10 TM bbq. I now understand why this place got the top spot. There is not a better Big 3 plate in the state. The brisket was perfect. Very light smoke flavor with a huge pop of basic seasonings with melt away texture. Turkey and ribs were awesome as well. Wait was super tolerable for a top 10 spot. got there at 830 on a Saturday and was plated by 1120. Worth a try at least once. Won't be disappointed.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. We celebrated a friends birthday in their private dining area. The service from Alexis and Juan were beyond my expectations. The food was amazing: fried nopales, chorizo, guacamole, filet, Chile relleno, mole enchiladas, and so much more. Oh! And the drinks… the amazing crafted cocktails. 10/10 for this place. Can’t wait to come back!”

I did the 8 course meal with the wine pairing. I was impressed with the Chef's level of technique and flavor profile.

The meal is expensive, but I can't decide if it feels more expensive because I don't spend that much money on a restaurant meal in Fort Worth, or because I want to go again and again.

The towels at the beginning and end could be updated.

Overall, the experience was great and it is the perfect place to celebrate a special ocassion.”

“We had the best experience this weekend at Bonnell’s. Long story short we don’t go out to eat because my son has a lot of food allergies and it’s not easy to accommodate them. However it was his 13th birthday so we really wanted to celebrate. The chef worked with me prior to coming in and made sure my kiddo was able to have a wonderful and safe meal to celebrate a huge milestone. All of the staff were sweet and thoughtful as well. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is warm. I’m happy to forever brag on this restaurant!”

“Beautiful new restaurant in the Near Southside by Marcus Paslay that would benefit by more engaged staff who seemed genuinely happy to be present. Best menu item we tried was the crispy calamari salad - anything but traditional with a near perfect blend of flavors. Best off menu/special item was fried peach pie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. If you are looking for a Marcus Paslay inspired meal, and exemplary dining experience I recommend Clay Pigeon.”

“Easily the best bar and best prices in Fort Worth. Jalapeño Pop Corn is a favorite. They didn’t understand the question when I asked their preference on masks. The servers were a bit salty but clever nonetheless. Money!”

“Rocky's Is a drive thru convenient liquor store. But you can order pizza at Rocky's. They make it fresh and hot. Just the way you like it. Very nice workers and well respected by customers.”

Usually get an egg type breakfast but today we went with cheesesteak bowls.
This exceeded our expectations! The steak and onion flavor was balanced perfectly, and the hash browns cooked exactly like they should be. Crispy outside and tender inside.
We always sit at the bar by the register in Kayla’s section. She’s great, knows what we like and is very pleasant to talk too when it’s not slam packed here.

You can’t beat the prices either, tax is included too!”

“First of All.... This is the first time we have bought Soul Food from a place and was happy with EVERYTHING!!! My husband and daughter ordered the Soul stuffed turkey leg and I ordered the crawfish Mac and Cheese turkey leg. I also ordered extra sides of chicken and dressing which rivals mine, yams, and I don't know why, but they put 2 extra containers of Black Eye Peas in the bag. I didn't order those buttttt mannnnnn, i am so glad they did because they were DELICIOUS!! We got Togo from this place and the ease of the online system was great. We will definitely be back.
