“Panther City BBQ continues to be one of the most criminally overlooked spots in the Texas BBQ scene. Everything we had was phenomenal. The brisket was perfectly smoked with a beautiful bark and melt-in-your-mouth texture, the pork belly burnt ends were ridiculous, and the jalapeño mac & cheese and street corn were just as memorable as the meat. The Tex-Mex twist they bring to barbecue is awesome too; the brisket tacos and quesabirria style tacos were unreal. Fort Worth folks already know, but if you’re anywhere in DFW and haven’t made the trip yet, you’re seriously missing out. Panther City deserves way more recognition than it gets.”

I would have expected better service when you're predetermining your own tip. 3. We also were asked to vacate our table for the next reservation while we were still actively spending money on after dinner drinks. These are all simple fixes on their end and I hope they can communicate better in the future.”

I’m not from New Orleans, but I visit several times a year and it is my favorite place to go!
I would say that SCDF is quite authentic. They have karaoke nights, live music, and other events. They even had Eggnog daiquiri flavor during the most recent holiday season.

We also had a table in the main dining room for half a dozen of the husbands who insisted on coming to have the special tamales, and bison burgers! They too loved the food and had excellent service. I cannot recommend Reata more highly. We live several hours from Ft Worth, and are looking for more opportunities to come again! Thank you Reata staff for adding to our wedding celebration. Dress code is to maintain a certain atmosphere as it is somewhat more expensive. The room is quiet enough to have a conversation. Many repeat customers create a coomunity environment. “Went for the Father's Day brunch and let me tell you my husband and I really enjoyed the food, the service, and the atmosphere. I loved the fact that they had quite a few vegetarian options(something more than what most restaurants offer, the baked potato and salad). Food 5 ☆, Service 5 ☆, Atmosphere 5 ☆. Will definitely be returning again and again.”

“We've been coming here for several months although not at a frequency that we have ever been NOT asked if it is our first time here. Food has always been consistently good. They do have a limited kitchen but their burgers do look quite good, their meatball sub is very good and their Devil's Sin pizza (basically a pepperoni and hot honey pizza with jalaps) is very good (but towards the end of the pizza you're ready to be at the end of the pizza 🤣). Beers are food. 2nd Anniversary beer is a heavy hitter but awesome. My daughter isn't in love with the kids chicken but she loves the pretzel bites (and they are very good!!). Wish they had more IPAs and I bet they would do am awesome job at a Belgian strong and Barleywine.... But I'm still waiting..... We always have a good time. From Fossil Creek it is a 20 minute drive North but then again if you're going to go to somewhere downtown FW you're spending as much time just being in traffic!”

“We have been to Whiskey Cake numerous times, and all times have been a positive experience. Today, was above and beyond a typical dining experience! First off, my husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and this location provided a classy and calm ambiance. Our waiter Joe was fun, knowledgeable, and you can tell he overall has impeccable work ethic. Since it was our anniversary we splurged and ordered the charcuterie board… we will do this going forward. This board was eclectic and bougie in a positive way. The chicken melt did not disappoint and the ingredients were fresh! But when I say the in-house whiskey cake blew us away… I’ve never tasted anything like it. We will be back! Thanks again Joe!”

The food is absolutely delicious, has spice options for those with a spicy 🌶️ level above 4. We had lunch, dinner same week and lunch again the following week. The drinks are top notch and they had the BEST service I have ever experienced at any restaurant. EVER. Our new favorite spot. Highly recommend.”
