“Best sushi I’ve had since I’ve moved out here! All the food was fresh and plated nicely. Great ambiance inside of the restaurant and I enjoyed how we can watch the chefs prepare each order. Huge thanks to our server Jenna! I told her to give me everything she recommends within a specified budget and not a single item she ordered missed! Would highly recommend Hatsuyuki to anyone.“
“A sushi joint in the "country" that is just as quality as the expensive ones. I've had 6 different dishes and each one was quality in every way. Staff is attentive and respectful. Dining area is decent sized and a good place to take the family. Plenty of parking and easily accessible. Delicious, quick, and convenient.“
“Decided to try Quince for lunch while in town for my hubby's chef competition. It was recommended by my cousin who lives in Fort Worth. It did not disappoint! The east coast oysters were perfection and we shared a grilled chicken sandwich which was great and had a little kick of spice. We would definitely go back. Thanks for the great service as well.“
“Had the Korean chicken sandwich with a peach bourbon smash. The sandwich was delicious. The fries were okay. Food came out quickly and service was solid. Marcos was good. The drink was quite refreshing and a good experience overall. They have a lovely outside area that I'd recommend going to at night for a pleasant experience.“
“I was initially drawn here a few years ago for the cozy, modestly traditional, and intimate atmosphere and decor. All of which this establishment does really well. Their kitchen is partially open so that you can see sushi being prepared, and the interior is small enough so that it feels like a more private venue. The food quality is unparalleled in the dfw area, you’re gonna be hard pressed to find better quality sushi outside of maybe a couple unique dining experience establishments. They have a pretty standard selection of appetizers which are really good, but not where they stand out from other sushi places with exceptions the Tuna Tower and Masunosuke Crudo which are higher dollar items for appetizers but other reviews rave about these items. They have a reasonably wide menu of rolls which is where they start to do really well for themselves. I typically divide rolls into a few categories: basic favorites (less complex in composition, wider appeal), authentic selections (truer to Japanese sushi), Complex Rolls (typically signature items that can be authentic or Americanized). They have enough of the basics you could take your kids here and have no issue ordering, and even if you prefer more nuanced sushi they do their basics well enough so that they will still be enjoyed. Their authentic rolls arent clearly indicated on the menu which I would prefer if they were, but if you know what you’re looking for it’s not hard to pick out really good items which were on parr with sushi I have had in the Marianas and southern pacific islands. Their complex rolls encompass both American as well as authentic compositions, but both accomplish the culinary purpose of sushi incredibly well. A particular favorite of mine that I’ve seen other reviews praise is the rocky roll, that roll was so good that I have continued to think about and have a craving for a week after last I had it.Their service has been quick, friendly, and knowledgeable about their menu every time I have been.I cannot speak highly enough about this restaurant, if you are a sushi enthusiast living in dfw this is a spot you must try.Vegetarian options: They have a decently sized vegetarian menu with items of from their appetizers, entrees, and rollsParking: Ridglea Village Shopping Center has plenty of parking spaces that are all free.Kid-friendliness: This is a more quiet and intimate restaurant, so its not the most ideal spot to bring young children, however they have plenty of items I’d have enjoyed as a kid, so you can definitely bring them along.“
“Slightly above average experience. Ordered 4 different sushi rolls, edamame, and seaweed salad. Nothing bad; nothing overwhelming different about most sushi places. This is a good thing, because I sometimes worry about a sushi place that serves dinner plates - the sushi can be 2nd place. But, it was good.“
“Small shop, they do have dine-in seats. We did take out, they didn’t have some of the options I was looking for in sushi but the rice was exceptional my only thing with the rolls I ordered was the salmon was slimy but everything else was ok. Staff were polite and patient.“
“Went for lunch on this gloomy Friday and the restaurant only had two table when we came in. Both my boyfriend's Ramen and mine came out hot and delicious. The chasu was very soft and easily pulled apart with chopsticks. I like the use of chili paste instead of chili oil for spice.“
“Good sushi spot with a few tasty vegetarian options. Their avocado rolls were good, but the sweet potato rolls were even better. The appetizer spring rolls were decent. I'd recommend getting multiple orders with friends and just sharing amongst yourselves.Service is a bit slow and sloppy, but they may have also just been training someone new when we went (who was very kind and courteous about everything).“
“Parking lot is cramped but the inside is surprisingly spacious. It is clean and quite visually appealing. Service is solid. Sushi is well made. Cooked entrees are delicious and very filling. Price wise the items are quite reasonable. Sushi is, to be expected, the most expensive items. All around great Japanese restaurant, will be returning.Dietary restrictions: Raw seafood made in a separate kitchen from the cooked entrees. Gluten free options are present for those with Celiac's disease.Parking: Rather cramped, expect some difficulty finding a decent spot.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to inhibit wheelchairs.“
“I rarely write reviews but this is my #1 sushi place now and I’ve been twice so far. Food is amazing, ambience is perfect and the prices are fair as well especially for the portions they give! Not to mention they have a great bar too. 10/10 for me!“
“Every time we go the experience gets better and better!!! We live over 100 miles away and go at least once a month!!! This last Friday March 8th we sat at the sushi bar so our 6 year could see.... the awesome sushi chefs made the experience for her so incredible... thank yall so much!!!! We will be back soon. God bless!!“
“Edohana has always been a relaxing spot for eating top tier sushi and tasting warm, buttery saké. I used to go every week. The staff is amazing, except for one Korean gentleman with glasses. I had never, in my journey for amazing food, been treated so poorly by a waiter. When asked his name, he said I wouldn’t even be able to pronounce it because it is Korean. RUDE. He was very mean, I was appalled and completely taken aback. The food is amazing, though I’ve had better ramen. The sushi and the sashimi are my favorite in town!“
“This was my first time visiting Kyushu. I brought my 7yo and 10 month old. Both kids were completely entranced by the chef's show. My 7yo gave it a 5-star rating. He's very particular about his food and experiences, so I was happy to get good feedback from him. The staff was friendly. We were seated promptly and had very little wait time after arriving at the table. No complaints. We will definitely go back.Kid-friendliness: The chef included little fun parts of his demonstration for the kids. We were able to get "beginner" chopsticks for my son to use, as it was his first time trying them. Plus, they had balloon animals/shapes for the kids.“
“great authentic vietnamese food with a chill atmosphere. we ordered phở and bún thịt nướng. the prices are good for the portion sizes, and the food was amazing. it makes me miss vietnam a lot, but now i know there's a great restaurant nearby that i can always go to. also a decent selection of drinks.“
“I looooove this place. The sushi was incredibly delicious. The only thing I didn't care for was the monkey balls, they weren't quite what you expect from the description and kinda bland. Other than that, super yummy. My new fave sushi place.“
“The rolls were so thick and tasted so fresh. I got the Lunch Bento Box which surprisingly had no rice (except for the california roll) but I promise you you wont miss it. I was pretty full off the meal I had. It was my first experience here but certainly not my last. I look forward to trying all the rolls.“
“I have been coming here since she opened a little over 5 years ago. Or before my daughter was born. It is by far the best sushi I've had in the Fort Worth area and I have tried a lot of other places! This is a privately owned restaurant, so quality is the focus. It is BYOB now so bring some Saki!Parking: Inside a strip mall so there is plenty of parking“
“Very cool concept! The sushi is excellent. The service is kind and prompt. You can either order off a menu or get any sushi from the revolving belt. It was inexpensive, each plate is $3.95, and it was super quick: just pick what you want, eat, and go. I'll be back.“
“You have to try their Plum wine sake! This is a good sushi place. They have good lunch specials with the bento boxes. We went on Valentines and they were definitely not prepared for the crowd they had but I’ve been before and never had issues with service. Definitely recommend for a casual lunch or dinner.“
“As always, everything with Axiom (Montgomery Plaza - not Hulen) is impeccable. The majority of the food was fantastic with such flavor, Chef Ramsay would have been ecstatic. But then there was the Crawfish Rice meal and the Pad Thai. We are not sure what was up with those dishes. The Pad Thai had a flavor of almost dry minced meat. The crawfish rice tasted as if the crawfish had been frozen for years and the rice had absorbed the freezer burn flavor. Both meals get a 1/10 while the other meals all get 9/10 or 10/10. Service from Annie/Anne was fantastic!“
“Place was very tidy, charming and clean. I came to just say hi to someone for Valentine's, but stayed for the food and everything else. I got several dishes and they were all flavorful and great, and the staff was super nice to me, They even gave me free Ramune and cheesecake to take to my little sister I told them about. One of my new favorite places. I stayed at the bar for 3 hours interrupted, reading and the atmosphere was calming and wonderful“
“I ordered the Tonkotsu Kuro, it was excellent.I will say, the amount of noodles is a bit disappointing, next time I'll just order extra. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the black garlic flavor was present, but not overpowering. My friend has the Spicy Miso Ramen, and very much enjoyed it.The space seemed a bit on the small side, but they optimized it with the layout.“
“Our go-to place for sushi! Fresh, large portions, well priced. Wait staff is top notch, we love Tai, Rose and Vu. Tai and Rose took care of our every need…. And we are needy!!! Try the Kylemachi - yellow tail sashimi with garlic, olive oil, salt and a squirt of lemon juice. ❤️“
“This is one of our favorite hibachi spots. The chefs not only put on a fantastic show but also deliver delicious meals every time. The servers are friendly and attentive. Portions are VERY generous. We always opt for extra fried rice instead of noodles, which guarantees us an extra meal (or two) for the week. It's a lively and enjoyable place to dine, perfect for special occasions or simply a fun night out. My go-to is the filet dinner, while my husband enjoys the steak and lobster or shrimp combo. While it's not the cheapest option, the quality and experience make it completely worth it.“
“Nothing special about the place just a Hibachi Grill the floor was sticking like it had been washed but not rinsed at the end with clean water from the front door to the back. As soon as you come in the front door they try to upsell you with a drink at the bar before they ever seat you.“
“Great food and even better service! Duke was amazing and made our experience so memorable. He was inviting and welcoming, and gave us great recommendations on what to eat and drink. It was a nice place, good music, and we will be back soon!“
“The server Chase he is amazing, it's hard to find servers that are very professional and intelligent well found one here . The food beyond good, delicious spring rolls best I've tried in Texas!!! Come visit and eat here you will love it!!!!“
“It was me and my husband’s first time at this restaurant, he’s never had sushi before so this was his first time trying it, but we both loved the food! It was absolutely delicious and very flavorful! Service was very good as well. Will definitely come again!“
